Allahamdulliah truly. “Indeed, with hardship comes ease” [Qur’an 94:6} Today I graduated from Rutgers University-Newark with a B.S in Criminal Justice & a minor in Legal Studies. This is more than a degree it came with strength, resilience, growth, and a testimony that indeed, with hardship comes ease. To my beautiful grandmothers, whose endless prayers, love, and guidance helped shape me into the person I am today. Though you are no longer here, I pray that Allah grants you mercy, forgives your shortcomings, and blesses you with the highest place in Jannah. May your beautiful duas continue to live through me, and may Allah reward you abundantly for every sacrifice, prayer, and act of love you poured into me. Ameen. To my family, my friends, and every person who stood beside me throughout this journey, thank you. Thank you for listening during my moments of stress, for being patient with me through my frustrations, for checking on me, encouraging me, and carrying me with your prayers. To everyone who made du’a for me or supported me in any way, may Allah reward you abundantly and place endless barakah in your lives. Alhamdulillah for every high and every low.
