The Closing Reception is tomorrow Saturday, June 6th, from 3-7pm.

Graphite Acrylic gouache on canvas

On view in Sanctuary.

Denis Montlouis is a mixed media artist based in San Francisco whose work is informed by years spent within skateboarding, graffiti and underground dance music communities. Drawing from the DIY energy and visual language of these subcultures, he creates vibrant compositions rooted in optimism, emotion, and lived experience. His paintings focus on creating meaning through emotion by abstracting textures and hues rather than focusing solely on creating identifiable forms. by @menace1997

Tomorrow, the medium is sound and the canvas is @barparttime. I’ll be serving atmospheric jams in the broad forms of house, electro, breaks…. Some real flavors from the left field. Come early, stay late. It’s Friday junior after all..
