my dearest zoe loki,
i’ve dreaded the day i’d have to write this message. words cannot describe the heartbreak and pain i am feeling now that you are gone, but it comforts me to know you are no longer in pain. i know you’re up in heaven with purry and ralph running through the greenest of fields. all the angels have welcomed you with open arms.

zoe, you are and always will be my “soul dog”. from the moment i saw you, i knew that you had to come home with me. what a blessing it is to have been loved by you. you had a heart of gold and loved everyone you met. you were by my side since i was in elementary school—through every heartbreak, every friendship drama, every sickness, everything. we grew up together. you’ve shown me nothing but love and patience. i am so thankful God gave me you. you are my greatest gift.

i pray that every single person on this planet gets to feel the love that you showed me these seventeen years. this pain i’m feeling is worth all that love you shared. i will forever miss you. rest in paradise, my angel.
