I always wondered why I was so drawn to Big Sur After the many trips this year, I learned so much about myself.My final one for the year was emotionally silent. The silence is such an incredible teacher. I didn’t stumble on this place to find something, I came to do what I was called to do. A return to self without the clutter. A reminder of Elohim. That God is within. Throughout my weekend there were many reminders of how to accompany my spirit and be tender. Also to remember life isn’t that serious because you might just see Channing Tatum and make eye contact with him. To the beautiful people I crossed paths with. To Big Sur. To Esalen. by @menaxr

I may be a senior, but I’m still learning.Collegiate racing has taught me a lot about myself. I do know that I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given. The people who have believed in me when I’ve doubted myself, and the endless support from coaches, teammates, ”unwritten”, family, and most importantly my mom. Little Mena would have never thought running would take her this far, but it sure did! By the grace of God. by @menaxr
