In 2011/2012, I started my journey at The Academy for Salon Professionals in Santa Clara, CA. The only reason I became a hairstylist, was because the haircutting teacher, Diane Van Dyke (aka D.V.D.) pulled me to the side when I was in the Esti program, and said I should come out the closet and become a cosmo and I did 😂 My educators @redkenpro_ginnette , @hella.noelle , @beauty_by_jenflandez , Diane, Miguel, and Julie. they poured so much of them selfs into me; not know what they have woken up inside of me. In 2018, I’ve worked with 3 Vidal Sassoon Educators @cuthairthewongway , @_chef_gu_ and Christy. I never knew how to do a bob, so I would always give up a short hair guest, to other stylists. They encouraged me to learn how to do short hair and get over my fear. In 2026, I got certified through Sassoon Connect x Aveda in their Gender Neutral Cutting; 7 months into into new postion To my amazing friends @yourfriend.ericalynn @manifestblueprint.studio and @pageboysj , thank you for always supporting me through out this crazy ride of a career. To my Director Mary Grace, thank you for facilitating my growth. It takes a special leader, a patient one, a kind of leader that allows supports your growth, even throughout the most harsh weather To my students; this was only possible because you guys. I brought my self back to my original plan, and here I am! Thank you all for inspiring me and allowing me to play a big part in your career. My advice for you, never stop asking why and never change who you, to fit in. Inspire those same people and watch them adapt to you. Thank you to @richardashforth and the Sassoon team for an amazing couple days of education! The little time I’ve spent with you guys, has done so much for me in ways you could only imagine. Thank you for inspiring me, so I can inspire my students. It was SO cool, hearing all the stories and personal memories about Vidal Sassoon. He would be so proud of this #SassoonConnectxAveda by @menchaca_manuel_
Still got it ✨ all over color and highlights; 6 hours later 🥲 by @menchaca_manuel_
Giving the mid 70’s “Charlie’s Angles” haircut, a makeover 💪 Not only didn’t she have fine hair, she had a lot of it! My guest wanted a curtain fringe that blended into her length. We decided to do a ‘Charlie’s Angle’, mid 70s, but more mod 😎 Detailing heavy texture into her mid lengths and ends was the best part. Okay, I lied, the best part was using @oribe Dry Texturizing Spray to really make her haircut come alive 🙌🏼 • • • • • #MasterStylist#FineHair #FaceFramingLayers #CharliesAngel #70sInspo #80sInspo #TextreLayerd #Oribe #StyledForOribe #DryTexturizingSpray #ModCut #ModernHairCut #CrtianFringe #PaloAlto #DownTownPaloAlto #UniversityAve by @menchaca_manuel_
Did I do a full high light ✨ or an all over color 🎨 , using L’Oréal Professional Dia Richesse 🧐? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My guest came in 95% salt, 5% pepper with bleached ends and wanted a highlight to blend her grey and to feel more blonde 👱‍♀️. Instead of stressing the hair with lightner, I educated my guest on the magic of L’Oréal Professional Dia-Richesse Demi-Permanent color 🌈 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I used L’Oréal Dia-Light 🌈 on her ends, to blend everything and her ends were still a little too warm for my liking. I washed her ends with Kerastause Blond Absolu Ultra Violet Bain and viola❗️ Kerastause for the save and the 🥇 🏆 🙌🏼 She Now has this Dimensional, High Impact, Low Maintenance, blond bomb shell hair 💅🏻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Click ✨Book Now✨ in my bio for your next hair experience with me 🤪 • • • • • #VizavooSalon #MasterStylist#DownTownPaloAlto #L’OréalProfessiona #DiaRichesse #GreyBlending #LowMaintenance #Kerastause #BayAreaHair #SanJoseHair #BlondeAbsolu #Standford #StandfordHair #UniversityAve #DimensionalColor #DimensionalBlonde #HighImpact #BookNow by @menchaca_manuel_

There was once a time, many many moons ago, any precision bob scared the ✨ out of me Every salon of been at, never took the time to teach me and I never knew why Knowing what I know now, they where just haters and didn’t want me to win because do y’all see that crisp line 👀 I know I do 😂 Good things take time and just like any skill, having a positive attitude we’ll get you far, as long as you have the correct tools in your tool box. #PrecisionBob by @menchaca_manuel_
