Made the perfect bandana and scarf for a cottagecore autumn 🍂🧵 This was a supposed camera strap I made in high school when I didn’t know as much about sewing, especially with such a thin fabric. I LOVED using the serger for the cleanest hem I’ve ever made in my life. Such a game changer 😍 #DIY #sewing #crafting #cottagecore #upcycling by @mend_easy
Happy #HispanicHeritageMonth! More specifically today is Mexican Independence Day. I love being Mexican 🫶🏽🇲🇽 This is a hoodie I made as a gift #mexico #embroidery #diy #mexican by @mend_easy
Little rabbit made as a gift. Lots of hand sewing so it was a labor of love 🤍 It’s been a while since I’ve made a stuffed animal so it was a good refresher in sewing 3D forms. Made with Simplicity pattern 8625 that I’ve been holding onto for a few years #sewing #stuffedtoy #stuffedanimal #diy #rabbit by @mend_easy
Had an idea for this and I’m so glad it came out well! Took a bit of fidgeting to line up so the placement wasn’t 100% guaranteed. I wanted something long to cover the rip and found this illustration. Chose the colors based on the Eastern Tiger Salamander bc we live in the same place 🦎 #embroidery #visiblemending #patch #diy by @mend_easy
Made a book sleeve out of a thrifted shirt 💜💙🌷 I got this shirt from an estate sale and the fabric was beautiful but I didn’t like the cut on me. Glad to turn it into something useful that actually gets to see the light of day! #rosiecaldwellpattern #bookish #sewing #thrifted #thriftflip Made a book sleeve out of a thrifted shirt 💜💙🌷 I got this shirt from an estate sale and the fabric was beautiful but I didn’t like the cut on me. Glad to turn it into something useful that actually gets to see the light of day! #rosiecaldwellpattern #bookish #sewing #thrifted #thriftflip How are you all? I like to keep my “I want attention on this thing I made” posts and my “this is what my life looks like” posts separate, so that’s the point of this account. Unfortunately I’m not super entertaining since documenting a project while I do it gets in the way of the actual project. That’s life living in a digital panopticon, and if I want to beat capitalism I better make my hobbies lucrative. Hope you’re doing well and staying safe in this strange and scary world 💖 by @mend_easy

It’s almost #pridemonth! 🌈 I had so much fun painting these windows for Family Piano. Stop by to check them out if you’re on Genesee St soon! by @mend_easy
A nifty Bob Ross-inspired painting I did to practice technique. 40”x30”. Acrylic on canvas. The biggest thing I’ve painted to date. Ended up covering some trees in the back that I liked (picture 4). by @mend_easy
It’s the weekend! Relax with some refreshing ice water with lemon, as painted here with acrylic on a 14” x 11” canvas 🍋🌬 by @mend_easy
I never know what to title my work so this is “Untitled 34(?)”. Acrylic on canvas. 12” x 12”. Located in the prestigious gallery known as my mom’s cubicle at work. by @mend_easy
