Here are some highlights from the @groundfloorcbus Pajama jam!

First, a little bit of context. We do a livestream show every Wednesday, and when there are 5 Wednesdays in a month, we use it as an excuse to have a little more fun.

For that fifth show, we pick a special theme. This time, the theme was… pajamas! Or onesies. Or anything comfy and cozy, really. We just thought everyone deserved a little extra fun and play in their lives.

It was a fun night. @mizzle_thedraper opened things up, followed by @skon.dj, then @mend_ng, then a b2b with both @skon.dj and @mend_ng (SKONDING v2.0).

We had some milk and cookies to go with the theme, including options for dairy-free and glutten-free. We try to keep things both immersive and inclusive, after all.

I just wanted to use this as a chance to say how grateful I am for an open minded group like this. It’s kind of weird to throw out pajamas as a theme for an EDM show, but everyone rolled with it, and we all had a goofy time about it. It was a ton of fun, and I’m not sure a lot of groups would have given it a shot. So thanks to @groundfloorcbus for being cool like that.

If this sounds like the type of thing you would want to be a part of, let us know! We stream every week, there are options to join online or in person, and we’re always looking for new DJs too!

A very big thank you to everyone who came out last night, to everyone who watched, to everyone who performed!

It was great to get to try something different and cozy and comforting. We appreciate you rolling with the weird random idea. And please let us know if you have any weird random ideas yourself, we’re always looking for inspiration.

We’ll have a full recap out soon. For now, we just wanted to say thanks, and share some dreamy vibes.

And as always, please follow @groundfloorcbus if you want to get involved. We’d love to have you.

We had so much fun at the pop-up collab between @souper_set and @groundfloorcbus!

We’re not only fans of their music, but also the creativity behind their entire concept. It’s delicious. We danced and enjoyed a red lentil soup last night.

Special thank you to @_rave.exe and @d.pomella for coming out and making a special appearance!

And also thank you to the other performers as well: @dwrecklol, @mizzle_thedraper, @skon.dj, and @mend_ng.

If you want to get involved in more unique events like this, make sure to follow @groundfloorcbus on Instagram and on Twitch. We’ve been doing a few shows a week lately, with options to watch online or join in person.

Is it just me or does it seem like sometimes, the nights with the least structure turn out to be the most fun? I love when a DJ asks “can I get weird for a minute?”

Y’all should do that more often.

A big thank you to everyone who came out or watched online.

A big thank you to our performers, @mizzle_thedraper, @mend_ng, @dwrecklol, and @skon.dj.

And also props to @skon.dj for curating the night, and also to @mizzle_thedraper for making the flyer.

PS - normalize giving people credit for flyers. What’s the point of making a big deal to have humans make flyers if you don’t give them credit?

If you want you check us out, or get involved, please follow us at @groundfloorcbus!

House music night from @groundfloorcbus, broadcasting live from Howdy’s Deli.

The night was created by @mizzle_thedraper, and also featured @noha_music and @keebaby_dj. A very special thank you to all our DJs for making time for us during a very busy Lost Lands week.

Also we are here broadcasting every Wednesday, with a different format each week. Please follow @groundfloorcbus if you want details on how to watch online, hang out in person, or join us as a performer!

Sorry for the intro on the last video, I was filming an odd item on the deli’s bulletin board when the music started getting real good, so I had to pivot.

Wishing you movement, kindness, and curiosity…
