Finished Green Knight/Sir Gawain illustration. He's depicted with blond hair in some historical imagery. Some think he is the Welsh counterpart to the Celtic Cú Chulainn so I thought to push the boundary of him being kind of being strawberry blond. He has a green sash around his waist which is a reminder of this story, a token of the failure to keep his promise and a reminder to do better.

I'll probably use prints of this to help raise funds for the space to be dedicated to historical arts and martial practices tied to @viragoalley The space is in really bad shape, but has potential. We hope to open it up somehow to local HEMA groups/artists. The logistics of that are still being figured out. It’ll be a ways as it needs a bit of work. Link to donate/info in bio. by @mended_arrow

New poster design, custom type treatment, and illustration for a fun upcoming event for @viragoalley @havana59rva and @rvaparksandrec

Info below:
The rumors are true, we are heading to Shockoe Bottom this December ❄️

Under a pale winter moon, 17th Street Market transforms into an otherworldly stage for Misfits & Mavens: A Winter Fete & Holiday Night Market, a costumed celebration stitched together from dreams and shadows. Where Victorian elegance meets gothic fantasy, dark fairy tales come to life, and peculiar creatures and curious cryptids emerge from the darker corners of the imagination.

The market unfolds with theatrical performances, puppetry, acrobatics, live music, and dancing alongside a collection of local artisans and makers. Guests are invited to embrace the unexpected, wander through a world of mischief and enchantment, and swirl across snow-dusted cobblestones while enjoying local food vendors, restaurants, and spirited libations to keep their bellies warm.

Mark your calendars! More details are to follow 👀 by @mended_arrow

If you can’t duel your friends who can you duel? ⚔️

There’s only two spots left for this Sunday’s workshop “18th Century Pistol/Sword Dueling” taught by @pat_possum

Learn the dueling process and procedure of pistol dueling based on the 1777 Code Duello. By the end of the workshop everyone will get to participate in a mock duel with safe swords and synthetic musket-style pistols.

Poster design/illustration for @roll4improv happening @rvacomedy

"What’s your favorite scary comedy show? The world of Scream collides with improvised RPGs at Roll 4 Scream this October at the Coalition Theater! In this live stage comedy show, a masked killer pursues a crew of potential victims, all driven by audience suggestions and rolls of the dice. It’s a fully-improvised slasher where rolling a 1 on a d20 doesn’t just mean a critical fail... it means death. Tickets at rvacomedy.com!" by @mended_arrow
