Two weeks to go to the fabled Caspar Classic XC race on some of the best trails in Mendocino County. You inland folks come on over, cool foggy temps and beautifully green trails through the redwoods await you! This is a benefit for the NICA NorCal Youth Team so I’m tagging a few of the schools we race against. Come play in our ‘hood! https://mendocc.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=270091&module_id=535726

A must attend event, year after year 🚲 🌲 ☀️
Join us for a day of community + camaraderie + bikes as we gather to rip trails and share stories right here on the beautiful Mendocino Coast. @strandcoffeeroasters will be set up and have (complimentary) coffee available before and after the race. Oh, and all race proceeds benefit @mendocinocomposite, the local NorCal chapter of @nationalmtb.

Cannot wait to see you there!

What a fantastic day to be in the woods playing on bikes. We are so lucky to have such great trails to ride. The Team put in some serious climbing today, but that just means more fun downhills to shred. by @mendocinocomposite

What a great way to kick off the NICA NorCalMTB race season. After months of training on our local trails we loaded up the wagons and headed south to Fort Ord. After a very wet start to the week, the sun came out Friday and led to some amazingly fast and grippy dirt to race on. There were plenty of little hiccups out on course, as to be expected for the first race, but all kept a positive outlook and their heads high looking forward to some more dirt miles to be pedaled between now and the next race a month away. Super thanks to all the coaches, parents, and racers who made the weekend great. And it wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our fabulous sponsors:

Absolutely a rocking day was had yesterday. We practiced our race starts and bottle drop/hand ups. Talked a bit about race strategy. Then everyone took a single all out effort on the 1-lap flagged race loop. Then gathered all back up and did a seriously fast paced three seperate rides. The Team is ready to actively rest this week and be ready to fly come next Saturday. by @mendocinocomposite

What a great Mendo Composite weekend. Started out Saturday with 5hrs of TrailWork with @mendocinocoastcyclists on a local trail making it far safer and more fun at the same time. Sunday we were able to gather 37 of us at @wentescoutreservation for some incredible trails full of hoops and hollers all around. Snuck out of there ten minutes before the rain arrived. Then a Team lunch at @flyingdogpizza wrapped up the afternoon. Good times all around! by @mendocinocomposite

Rad day with 27 Mendo Composite Team members joining the Mendocino Coast Cyclists on their monthly trail work day. North Weir got a huge amount of fun improvements done today. Can’t wait to ride it next weekend. @winston_b_w, byronlima777, @aiden551w, @julian_norman3, @dylan_comen, @191db,, @ncobillas by @mendocinocomposite
