Covent Garden.

The first building shows the London Transport Museum. This museum shows the history of London Transport throughout the years.

Continuing on Covent Garden history. Much of what was sold was homegrown, but the market reflected a growing influence from outside Britain's shores from as far as America.

It was a popular market, and it kept growing, spilling outward from Covent Garden's square.

As the market grew bigger and more popular, it came to an overcrowding, refuse, and general confusion. It was often criticized in Punch news as a Mud Salad Market.

Enter Covent Garden. An entertainment market in London.

A hotspot in London visited by 44 million visitors every year.

Covent Garden is actually a bastardization of Convent Garden, which it was called as early as the 1500s for being the vegetable garden of the monks of Westminster Abbey.

For a time the land remained in the monks possession and in the possession of several lease holders until 1536.

By 1830 Covent Garden was re organized with the structure of Central Market and it would live on for almost two more centuries.

No longer was it a social centre so much as a market proper.
Attracting not just gardeners in the form of costermongers and their barra boys (a name the originated from "barrow boys")
Though it would be most popularly known as a vegetable market, florists, hawkers, tailors and more.

Mamma Mia Musical at the Novello Theatre. The song was wrote by two members of ABBA, Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus.

The Mamma Mia song sang by Swedish pop group ABBA.
The musical opened at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6th April 1999, where it played for just over five years.

Mamma Mia transferred to the Prince of Wales Theatre on 9 June 2004, enjoying its third and final move to date at the Novello Theatre from 6th September, 2012.

Mamma Mia features an original book by Catherine Johnson, a British Writer whose works have been produced nationally.

Mamma Mia is her only West End playwriting credit, with further London credits including Little Baby Nothing and Shang-a-Lang at the Bush Theatre.

As well as the stage production of Mamma Mia, Catherine Johnson wrote the screenplays for the musical's film adaptation and subsequent sequel.

The Novello Theatre first opened on 22nd May 1905 as the Waldorf Theatre.

It was designed by W.G.R Sprague, who also designed the Aldwych Theatre on the opposite side of the Waldorf Hilton Hotel.

Tina Turner Musical, Aldwych Theatre.

Tina Turner didn't just break the rules, she rewrote them. This new stage musical reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race.

Aldwych Theatre history:
The Aldwych Theatre was constructed at the bottom corner of Drury Lane, which also hoses the fourth and present Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Which has been open since 1812 and the Gillian Lynne Theatre, formerly the New London Theatre, which itself replaced the former Mogul Saloon, Middlesex Music Hall, Middlesex Theatre of varieties and Winter Garden Theatre.

Aldwych Theatre, Tina Turner.

The Aldwych Theatre was designed by the well known Theatre Architect W.G.R.Sprague and constructed by Walter Wallis of Balham for Seymour Hicks in 1905.

On the theatre's opening day it had a stage 31' 10" wide by 30' high and 37' deep and an auditorium decorated in the Georgian Style with capacity of 1,100.

The theatre opened on Saturday the 23rd December 1905 with a production of Blue Bell, which was a new rendition of Bluebell in Fairyland. By Seymor Hicks and Walter Slaughter, first produced at the Vaudeville Theatre in 1901.

Aldwych Theatre now plays the Tina Turner musical.

The story of the world famous singer, songwriter and actress, Tina Turner. From Humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee to her rise as the Queen of Rock and Roll.

The Royal Courts of Justice.

The impressive Victorian Gothic architecture, grandeur and history make it one of the most recognizable landmarks in London, attracting thousands of tourists and legal professionals every year.

The building of the Royal courts of Justice began in 1873 and took nearly 10 years to be completed.

The cost of construction was substantial, with estimates suggesting that it was around £1,200,000 million, which was a significant sum of money at the time.

The building's design was based on Gothic architecture, which was popular during the Victorian era.

The Royal Courts of Justice was officially opened by Queen Victoria in 1882.

Since then, it has played a central role in the British legal system, serving as the site of many significant cases over the years.

Located in Strand, central London. Which is located opposite to the Temple Bar Memorial Pillar.

This magnificent grand court building serves as the central court of High Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal.

The High Court of Justice in London, known properly as His Majesty's High Court of Justice in England.

Together with the Court of Appeal and the Crown Court are the Senior Courts of England and Wales.

Its name is cut short as EWHC (England and Wales and High Court) for legal citation purposes.

The AEC Routemaster is a model of double-decker bus that was built by Associated Equipment Company (AEC) in 1954 (in production from 1958) and produced until 1968.
