Happy to share one of the most beautiful project I’ve been involve lately. I’m truly grateful to the whole team for making this happen

“BAINNE was inspired by growing up in rural England and by the girls I grew up with. Almost overnight, they would change from friends into something more distant and otherworldly. They were trying make-up, they had grown taller, and our friendships no longer felt quite even.
To me, they seemed powerful, capricious and elusive. Boys often take longer to mature, and I remember the slight sadness of realising that my friends were on the cusp of something I didn’t yet understand.
We wanted to capture that mysterious and raw beauty through a series of simple portraits”

WORLDS IN DISSONANCE

A sensual exploration of the delicate and minimal designs of Liepa Aliukaité and her eponymous fashion label.
Through a playful approach that composes high-quality design and mundane items, their original order is not
only reimagined, but also highlights the designers craft in diverting disposables.

Inspired by the transformation of these everyday objects into ones of desire, this visualization blends them with simple materials accentuating form and tactile experience. Applying analog processes and a color palette ranging from black and white to silver, the melancholy embedded
in Liepa Aliukaités designs is further elaborated.
Simultaneously the use of photograms brings attention to the craft of repurposing, showcasing the designers distinctive signature. by @menes5555
