One year passed, and Moussa is ONE!
I still remember the first moment I held you in my arms. I had no idea how much that tiny little baby would change my entire life.
You shaped me, challenged me, softened me and made me stronger in ways i never knew i needed.
You taught me patience when I didn’t think I had any left to give..
Motherhood wasn’t easy, I struggled a lot throughout this year, more than I ever imagined I would. Looking back at everything we’ve been through honestly makes me want to cry. But through all the hard days, you gave me a love I never knew was possible.
I know I’m not perfect, but I try every day to be the best I can be for you. And maybe that’s what this year taught me most that I don’t have to be a perfect mother, I just have to keep showing up for you with all the love I have. 🤍
And I could never talk about this year without being thankful for the people who carried me through it.

To my husband, thank you for being there through the hard days, the sleepless nights, and all the moments I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore. I truly wouldn’t have made it through this year without you.

And to my mom, thank you for being my safe place, for always showing up, and for helping me when I needed it most. I genuinely don’t know how I would have done this without you.

I’m so lucky that Moussa gets to grow up surrounded by so much love. 🤍
