At the beginning of my walk with the Lord, the idea that my fervency was just a symptom of being new in the faith was subtly communicated by those around me.
I’d hear things like, “That’s how I was that first year,” or “You’ll settle down eventually,” and I subconsciously started to believe it and quietly prepare myself for the other shoe to drop, to lose my wonder for Abba.

But yesterday at midweek service, @_chisomolusanya led a prayer that stirred something in me—
a reminder that time isn’t meant to quench the fire, but to refine it.
Because for the believer, time is not the enemy—it’s a gift

Time with the Spirit to form depth, for worship to become more intentional, for reverence to grow and for love to be anchored. So that in the same manner as the 24 elders, the more I see of Him, the more undone I become.

Whatever comes first—His return or mine—my posture remains:
On bended knees, a burning heart, and working hands. ❤️‍🔥

“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” — Romans 12:11
