✨ My first summer knit design is almost here ✨

I don't usually knit summer garments... but this one completely changed my mind. 💛

Meet the #FrillsTop — a feminine, top-down knit worked on 4 mm needles and easily one of my favorite designs I've ever created.

I'm already planning a second version in yellow because I simply can't get enough of it. ☀️

The pattern is currently being finalized, and the test knit call drops next week!

I can’t believe this… I designed and knitted my very first cardigan (!!) from scratch and I’m honestly in love with how it turned out 🥹

Now I’m thinking… should I turn this into a pattern? 👀

STOPP, wie kann aus ein bisschen Garn bitte SO etwas entstehen? 👀🧶

Mein aktuelles WIP erinnert mich mal wieder daran, wie viel mehr im Stricken steckt, als man am Anfang denkt. Der #CaroScarf wird gerade zu einem dieser zeitlosen Teile, die man am liebsten für immer tragen möchte. 🤎

Ich bin jetzt schon VERLIEBT – obwohl er noch gar nicht fertig ist! 🥹

Aber jetzt bin ich neugierig: Was glaubt ihr, wie er fertig aussehen wird? 👀

Du kennst Peer Gynt, aber hast du es schon selbst verstrickt? 👀🧶

Heute auf dem Prüfstand: Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt! 🤎

Ich muss ehrlich sein: Als ich das Garn zum ersten Mal in der Hand hatte, war ich kurz geschockt, WIE rustikal es sich anfühlt. 😂

Ich war mir wirklich nicht sicher, ob ich damit stricken möchte.

Und heute? Ich LIEBE es!

Aber es gibt ein paar Dinge, die du vor dem Kauf wissen solltest. 👇

🤎 Nicht superweich: Wenn du kuschelige Merinowolle erwartest, könnte dich Peer Gynt überraschen.

🍂 Perfekt für Herbst und Winter: Für warme, zeitlose Strickstücke einfach toll.

🧶 Ein Traum für Colorwork: Die Maschen kommen wunderschön zur Geltung.

✨ Ideal für Strukturmuster: Zöpfe und andere Muster wirken richtig schön definiert.

Und wenn du ein Strickstück schaffen möchtest, das dich bei guter Pflege viele Jahre begleitet, solltest du dieses Garn definitiv auf dem Schirm haben.

Mein Fazit: Manchmal muss Wolle nicht kuschelig weich sein, um mich komplett zu überzeugen. 🤎

Wenn du nur EIN Garn für Kinder & Geschenke speichern willst… DAS hier. 🧶👀

I fear I have to break up with this yarn… 🥲💔

Und das fällt mir wirklich schwer, denn ich liebe DROPS Daisy.

Beim Stricken ist sie einfach unglaublich weich und angenehm. 🤍
Dazu kommt ein Preis, bei dem man eigentlich gar nicht nein sagen kann.

ABER: Das Pilling hat mich leider etwas enttäuscht. 🥲

Mein Pullover sah tatsächlich schon nach zweimal Tragen so aus, dass ich ihn eigentlich wieder entpillen wollte. Und wenn man nach fast jedem Tragen zum Fusselrasierer greifen muss, ist das für mich einfach nicht ganz alltagstauglich.

Deshalb würde ich Daisy inzwischen eher für Mützen, Schals und kleinere Projekte verwenden – dafür liebe ich sie wirklich! 🧶🤍

Daisy zusammen mit Mohair soll übrigens richtig schön sein. Das habe ich selbst noch nicht ausprobiert, aber bisher nur Gutes darüber gehört. 👀

Mein Fazit: Ich liebe das Garn – ich würde es nur nicht mehr alleine für einen Pullover verstricken.

📌 Speicher dir das Reel für deinen nächsten Wollkauf – besonders, wenn Daisy schon auf deiner Einkaufsliste steht.

Everyone loves DROPS Air… but after 4 years, I have THOUGHTS. 👀🧶

I genuinely LOVE this yarn. It’s incredibly soft, light, fluffy and the price for a blown yarn is honestly hard to beat. And the colour range? 😍

BUT… it pills. A LOT.

Even after 4 years, my DROPS Air pieces are still pilling — and over time they’ve lost some of their shape and that beautiful fluffy look.

Would I stop using it? Nope. 😂

I just wouldn’t knit it on its own anymore.
My favourite way to use it now? Together with Kid Silk Mohair for a more durable fabric that keeps that fluffy, dreamy look. ☁️

So yes, I still love DROPS Air.
I just use it differently now. 🤍
