A few months ago I took a chance, bought a new machine and decided to see what would happen if I brought embroidery out into the world instead of keeping it inside my studio. 💭

I never imagined one little idea would open the doors it has. 💖

So much of what I make has emotion attached to it. There’s love, excitement, nostalgia, grief, inside jokes, milestones, people missing people, people celebrating people… there’s almost always a beautiful story behind what ends up on my machine. 🥹💖

And then I get messages like these and realise how incredibly lucky I am to play even the smallest part in those stories. 😭

I fully support making your pets your entire personality. 😂🐾

Because if half your camera roll is already them, you talk about them like they’re your children and you’ve definitely shown their photo to people who did not ask… having their little faces embroidered onto your clothes feels like the logical next step. 🪡
