Still spinning, still dreaming, and the drop hasn’t even hit yet.
The best is yet to come, and giving up?
Not in this DJ’s setlist! Every setback’s just a buildup—wait for the drop, it’s gonna be epic. Keep the vibes high and the beats louder. Let’s ride this wave all the way up!

The first one got hot, the floor got heavy and the rhythm took over. So we’re back October 10th from 22:00-2:00 at @worm.rotterdam
🔸
No dress code, no dance police, no borders and no rules about who belongs on the floor. Just a deep love for SALSA — the percussion, the clave, the sweat, the bodies moving together and that feeling when the whole room catches the same rhythm.
🔸
The crew for this edition is pure fire

𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗲́𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. 🎬

The 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘆 honoured us with a traditional Pachamama ceremony, an Andean ritual that expresses gratitude to Mother Earth and asks for blessings for the journey ahead 💫 Safe to say, we couldn’t have asked for a better start. The warmth and positive energy of that moment carried through the evening and, in many ways, set the tone for the weeks that followed.

But back to night one... the photos speak for themselves. Our opening screenings were packed, 𝗗𝗝 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀 brought the house down with eclectic Latin beats, 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗮’s delicious bites disappeared almost as quickly as they arrived, and 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺𝗵𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗮𝗴 kept the caipirinhas flowing 🪩🌮🍹

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s edition happen: film lovers, filmmakers, volunteers, sponsors and partners. Thank you for celebrating the stories, cultures and communities of Latin America and the Caribbean with us in the heart of The Hague. 🙏

👀 See a familiar face? Tag them in the comments!

More opening weekend moments coming up!

Half Aruban, half Dominican, DJ MeRas is based in Rotterdam and blends Caribbean and Latin sounds into vibrant, high-energy sets. Over the past year, she has been performing primarily within the queer scene, bringing people together on dance floors wherever she goes. Music is her passion, something you can both hear and feel in every set.

MeRas será la encargada de abrir la pista de baile este sábado. Prepárense para uno de los momentos más tropicales de la noche, con una explosiva mezcla de dancehall, shatta y reggaetón! 🥥💃🔥
