VACANT is a series of images reflecting the rapid changes of our time. A cityscape usually characterised by coherent rows of houses is temporarily interrupted by demolition sites and vacant lots. For a short time, the traces of the demolished buildings are visible as shadows on the walls of neighbouring houses, before they vanish entirely as a new and more modern building fills the gap.
