I can't believe I've just competed at my first worlds! We are a first year world's team and we have not had an easy year. Injury after injury, changes to routine, and more. We altered our routine due to an injury at our last practice, we also had to make changes in the back room before we went on to take the mat. We went out there and and stepped up to the plate. Not to mention this is all of our first time ever taking this mat. I seriously couldn't be more proud my team for not giving up and pushing through to the end. My 4-year-old self would have never thought that I would have ever been able to make it here. I hope I was able to make little me proud. I'm with the best of the best and it's such an honor to be on the same level as some of these amazing teams. I'm seriously so thankful for all the years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. After 13 years, here I am, I made it! I'm officially a world's athlete, and no one can take that away from me. 🌎❤️ by @mercedez_mckenzie

WORLDS 2026!!🌎
Still finding words to describe the emotions I'm feeling after this season. This time of year I look back and realize how much progress I've made. Every time I hit that world's mat I'm overwhelmed with the "I made it" feeling. Hitting 0 was just the cherry on top. Each year my love for the sport deepens, but this one was something special. Coaches, thank you for helping me achieve the impossible. Can't believe my time on the mat is almost over, I couldn't have asked for a better senior year.
