Mercer Chiefs NCDC Team Clinches Fourth Consecutive Playoff Berth

Hamilton, NJ — The Mercer Chiefs NCDC team has secured a spot in the 2026 playoffs, marking the organization’s fourth straight postseason appearance in its first four years in the league. This achievement highlights the program’s rapid rise and sustained excellence within the highly competitive Atlantic Conference.

Since joining the NCDC, the Chiefs have established themselves as one of the league’s most consistent contenders. In addition to four consecutive playoff berths, the team has reached the finals in three of those first three seasons and captured one conference championship, underscoring the strength and stability of the organization.

“We are incredibly proud of these guys,” said GM/Coach Rob Broderick. “We have fought through alot of adversity this season and stuck together. We have the youngest team we’ve had so far, and it is just great to see these guys getting better every week and to see how close they are as a group.”
The Chiefs now turn their focus to the postseason as they look to build on their impressive track record and pursue another deep playoff run.
