More sideways knitting with the Tanny Tank Top by the wonderfully creative @toqu.tigu . It’s a fun project that I’m excited to wear now that I’m finally making garments for myself! I’m using @knit_picks Lindy Chain for the first time - it’s a lovely blend of 70% linen and 30% pima cotton that will get softer with wear.

Chef @taytototts of @peasantsfeast outdid herself with Cakes For a Cause, raising money for CHOW (Culinary Hospitality Outreach Wellness) by making cakes, inspired by other local chefs, to raffle and cake flights to purchase. I’m very happy to eat cake to support a good cause.

Cocoon was a very fun project to knit! Its designer, @toqu.tigu (Ainur Berkimbayeva), creates the most innovative designs and I love the way her mind works. Pattern instructions are clear and easy to follow. The fit of this sweater is unique and looks good on every body.
I’m so in love with it I never want to take it off.

It’s not too late to join Ainur’s SidewaysAlong (SAL) and knit any of her sideways patterns. Info is in her bio @toqu.tigu

It’s officially Springtime and Snowbird Hat pattern is live! @kalurah has created another winner and I really enjoyed testing it for her.

Yarn is @knit_picks Swish DK that I was inspired to dye with the colors of winter’s transition to spring. The purple hints of crocus blooms and tulips are represented by the other little sprinkles of colors.

I’m test knitting the lovely Snowbird Hat for @kalurah I love test knitting for her because her designs are full of cables and she makes it so easy to create them.

Yarn is @knit_picks Swish DK that I hand-dyed. It’s such a nice yarn to work with - it’s soft, has nice stitch definition, doesn’t split, and is just the right weight for our weather.
