The East Coast Conference will add field hockey as the league’s 21st sport, with conference play and the initial championship taking place in the 2026-27 academic year.

Currently, five ECC institutions sponsor field hockey as a varsity sport that will participate in the inaugural ECC season: @mercyufh, D’Youville, Molloy, Roberts Wesleyan and St. Thomas Aquinas. The ECC is adding Dominican as an associate member. by @mercyufh

💙💛MORE THAN A GAME. PLAYING FOR A PURPOSE. 💙💛

Yesterday, we took the field for our 2nd Annual Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Game alongside Bentley University to raise awareness and support the CF community. 🫁

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system, making everyday activities like breathing a challenge for those living with it.

We are so grateful to Bentley for joining us in this special tradition and helping bring awareness to such an important cause for the second year in a row.

A special shoutout to our very own Captain #10, Kate Conklin, a Boomer Esiason Ambassador, for representing this mission and showing us anything is possible!

Want to make a difference? Consider donating to the Boomer Esiason Foundation to support the CF community and help advance research toward better treatments and a cure. Donate at esiason.org

Together, we can make an impact beyond the field.

On October 10th, World Mental Health day, @mercyufh held their dedication game to the life and legacy of Morgan Rodgers, a former Duke Lacrosse player who passed away after struggling with her mental health. Their game helped to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics🦋🤍
