To this day, I still remember yelling at one of my family members when I was about 9 years old saying, “Why don’t you just throw me in the TRASH!”

I couldn’t tell you what that argument was about, but in that moment I remember feeling beyond defeated and believed that I was worth trash and should be put in it. As dramatic as that may seem, looking back, that over arching topic of diminishing my worth has rippled throughout my life time and time again.

I share this because life throws things at us that can stick — but it’s what we do with them and WHO we give them to that matters. God has renewed a new spirit within me over the years and sometimes I fall back into the trash for a second but the Lord reminds me that I am treasured and not disqualified. How about you—what do you fall back into sometimes and need the reminder from the Lord that you’re valued, loved, qualified and treasured?

Adeline made a birthday cake for me tonight but because we didn’t have my number *40* candles to light, she made this little sign🥰 It’s the little things!

Oh, and I also milked some water from a pretend cow with my kids on my birthday😂 We were laughing so hard…more memories locked in🩷🩷🩵

Time flies when you’re havin’ fun…..💖

Adeline Noelle was gifted some incredible dance teachers that knew just how to invest in her natural talent and her heart!

Here’s a few pics of her first, ever, Dance Recital with The Dance Company that was back in June! She absolutely LOVED dancing with her class and we couldn’t be more proud of her and her heart for expression through dancing!💃🏼 by @merebum

Worship Circle has been a ministry we’ve been a part of for many years and it holds a special place in our hearts. They are about to host another glimpse into the ministry where you can meet other worship leaders in a small group setting, via zoom, and spend some quality time together for a few hours discussing life and the aspects of ministry that we each carry.

From one special memory-making homestead to another……….we officially made our move to Newark, Delaware on June 30th!

A HUGE shoutout to our amazing friends who helped move our stuff into the uhaul and cleaned our home in Maryland to a HUGE shoutout to our new church family who helped move our stuff out of the uhaul and who cleaned our new home in Delaware! Each one of you are such a tremendous blessing🤍

✨Wood Family Update✨

We have always said to the Lord, “Our hands are open, Lord, whatever You have and wherever You want us to go….”

We have enjoyed living back in Southern Maryland for the past three years — our time here has been precious and filled with many special old friendships and new friendships alike! Many new memories locked in our hearts now💞

That being said, God is saying it’s time for us to depart from here and be repositioned in Newark, Delaware!

Chris is going to be the Lead Pastor and I will be the Worship Leader at Newark Wesleyan Church starting July 5th☺️

If you could please pray for our family during this transition, it would mean so much to us….that we continue to remain in step with Him!

We are moving and want to find a good home for our matching dark blue couch and loveseat!

These come from a pet friendly, non-smoking home. Our cats have unfortunately enjoyed the arms to scratch a bit (the loveseat more so than the couch) but they are SUPER comfortable to sit on!

The bottom cushions can be removed to wash or if you wanna give it a new look, grab yourself a cute and cozy couch cover to match your decor!
