Here is the info I posted in my stories tonight if you want to pass along any info to those you know. Knowledge is power.

I refer to women specifically because that is often the victim in the crimes I worked on as well as the case highlighted here. Please know that I in no way I tend to take away from any person’s experience because this is gendered. Female, male, trans, nonbinary, or any other gender expression all experience sexual assault. This crime knows no gender, sexual orientation, economic status, race, creed, etc. EVERYONE is affected. by @meredith.staton

I remember seeing example of Greek urns in my school textbooks growing up and being fascinated by the detailed pictures put onto pottery. Today I got to see some examples of these in real life and I still cannot believe it. I’m talking some of these were dated 500 B.C.! All of these were Greek or Roman pieces. taken in Michael C. Judson and I went to the museum at Emory today and I was mesmerized by all of the ancient jewelry.
1, 2, 4, and 11 are all earspools from Central America and Egypt.
3 is an obsidian lip labret plug from the Aztecs
5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are examples of Egyptian bead work.
10 is an Egyptian ring
12 are all Roman earrings
