Fujimura Institute Gathering 2026: The concept of FIG leaves represents holding space for lament and feast at the same time. As humans journey through a life of pain and joy, moving from withering leaves to flourishing ones, we learn to hold both.

Stay tuned for a collection of artists’ observations, works, and reflections in the FIG catalog, launching in November.

We ended with a great feast, where friends and fellow artists gathered to share expressions of what makes us human.
