The Park has always been a great teacher to me, and this summer has brought some of my greatest lessons to date. As I am reflecting on how I grew this season, I notice a sense of independence, a greater ability to learn, and a higher drive to climb on things that push me out of my comfort zone and inspire me. I turned 32 this September, and I’m loving how much wisdom has come with this age. I know myself and my body better. I understand how to fuel, how to rest, how to create a healthful life for myself. I’m at peace with my climbing for the first time…ever? I got to scale a lot of new rigs this summer, but some of my favorite accomplishments include Whispers of Wisdom, The Dead Raccoon, Roundhouse, and completing my self-proclaimed Upper Upper circuit. Though a younger me may have been capable of this physically, I wasn’t ready for this next step in my climbing til now. Til I got my mind right. I’m so thankful for the lessons, the whispers of wisdom that have come to me through park climbing. I like to think it helps me become a better person, a better version of me. Up next, I’m looking to explore some loftier long-term objectives and search for my next steps in this wonderful sport. 🫶 by @meredithawillingham

Learning to love Spring 💐🌻🌼 ft.
-A very warm trip to Joe’s
-A lovely visit to see the beautiful @fabienneannick and @mos__jef in their California home
-Liam’s bday, including a surprise gathering
-My garden project in the works + me cryin at the beauty of LIFE with my lil seedlings starting to sprout. I’ve been super interested in growing my own food, building my own things, second hand EVERYTHING.
-Lots of climbin, always. I set out to do two things this season. Spend more solo time on my rigs and get more familiar with the 8a realm. 🤝 I found a lot of mental clarity and focus, which felt really good. Favorite moments include listening to the birds chirp while I rest and soaking in all the quiet.
-Rumi, the queen of the land.

Berry season is in full swing with a twinge of fall in the air! Trout are in absolute abundance for the boys. Rafaela is slumping, but we still ALWAYS UP. I finally ascended Toe Hook V5, tg I didn’t use a heel hook. Comb trainer. @liamab is making a fun little edit of our summer so far, so enjoy the teasers of a little climbing, a little baseball, a little Jo. by @meredithawillingham

A little life magic featuring:

✨RMNP magic. If you’re part of RMNP summer camp, you know. A feeling of deep wholeness, learning, digging deep, WOOP, and raucous rounds of 20 questions. These are the moments I’ll never forget. Sends are just the icing on the cake, including some of my favorite summits Eternia and Real Large, watching Liam send absolutely everything including White Noise, The Phoenix, Aslan. Noah destroying Top Notch. Kai showing up with all the support and fun despite some tough injuries.
✨ Friendship magic, including Ariel’s bachelorette, tubing the Vrain, spike ball and blitz ball fun, baseball games (I’m in my Red Sox era and ilysm Cedanne), HORSE, porch hangs.
✨Family magic. So fun to have our families visit as Liam and I moved into our enchanted witch cottage (ambient scene not included).

Summer sensations so far. 🥰 Hard to pick just ten pictures to sum it up, but here are some of the most memorable.
1-2. After work sessions at the Lake with my fam.
3. Celebrating @imknowa and @siena_brooke as they tie the knot.
4. Upper upper with the bestest friends.
5. Summiting the Lonely Mountain. Yeesh. Tried my little heart out.
6. Renee visiting from FL. Josie fell in love with her auntie.

Josie Bones turns 1! Happiest of birthdays to my sweet angel baby. You’re a mountain girl through and through, you keep up with our wild lifestyle and love it just as much as we do, you’re better in talus than anyone I know, you’re the gentlest littlest heeler there ever was, and you’ve got the most down-for-anything spirit. This little one has brought immense healing into my life. My heart explodes with the amount of love @liamab and I have for you. Happy lap around the sun girly. Bye Vegas!! Had the funnest trip with @liamab 🥰. Got to do a lot of new boulders and have a lot to come back for! God I love sandstone. Gonna miss the sound of my own screams reverberating through Gateway. Scheming a trip back this winter to finish up the loose ends. Til next time. 😏

All kidding aside, it’s worth noting that the left hand gaston has broken. It’s a little bit smaller and less friendly than before, but it obviously still goes. Made the lockoff move a little less of a lockoff for me 😅. by @meredithawillingham
