Happy Daughters Day to my absolutely iconic built-in adventure buddies ❤️

The tallest and fastest coasters call to you 🎢 and the wildest inner tube rides at the lake are the high points of your summer 🛥️ you’re always down to try the next random thing that seems odd but entertaining… y’all play board games like it’s a championship league ♟️ always want the spookiest options in spooky season 👻 and at the end of all the adventuring- you like to chill and watch movies piled together complaining about needing more space. But really, you’re cool with cramming.

if you’re up for an adventure, the Q girls are down for it! As long as I don’t take too many pictures 😆

Y’all are my favorite things and every season with you both is my version of Heaven.

Had a girls night with my Vera Cake tonight! She loves drawing and painting so we did the @dallastexasexes painting with a twist Longhorns night 🤘🧡 VK had to fix my painting multiple times 😜

Thanks to my friend Jen, we had an awesome experience booking a family photoshoot in Montmartre ❤️ @flytographer was a GREAT recommendation and now we have family pics in my favorite place on Earth that will be cherished forever. 🫶

My girl has been living her best life lately 💕 First sideline cheer game EVER is in the books and she loved it! These girls are SO good - I’m constantly impressed by the talent on this team! And every one of them has been super sweet and welcoming to our VK!

It was my first time as a sideline cheer mom melting in the stands and I love love love that my momma was there with me - the person who was melting in the stands years ago when it was me on the sidelines! Full circle moment and one of the best🩷 Love you so much my momma! @hudsonmarcyoates

Did I bring 3 fans, a bleacher seat and an umbrella? YEP. Did I yell out the name of my new friend @tiffanyloo29 across 20 yards like a crazy person when I saw the one person I knew?! You betcha!
But look at me getting out there and meeting new people despite my awkwardness 😅! ✨

Maus has been so so so good to us 🫶

And incase yall missed it - Avi’s sideline peewee cheer team is the Longhorns this season (because we are THAT lucky!!)!🤘🧡 our sweet Coach Kari is going to see how hard we go on Saturdays during football season and this just made us double down on all the burnt orange (as if i needed another reason 🙃) by @meredithdnee

A few more memories & things you should not miss if you’re planning a trip to Paris 🇫🇷

The shadow silhouette photo behind the clock at the Musee D’Orsay. First of all- I love this museum and it’s worth the trip, especially if you’d rather pass on the bigger crowds at the Louvre. In the summer check the website for times (the heat makes closures possible)!

You can book tickets early and even get a discount if you pair the Musee D’Orsay with the Rodin museum. Check it out - make sure you’re on the official sites, y’all!

We did the Louvre, saw amazing things - but I’m just not a fan of the chaos around the Mona Lisa.

I’ll do a bigger post about Montmartre and Place Tertre later, but the Aunties and quickly headed up to the top of the hill for the views and the artist plaza. Probably my favorite area in Paris.

Then we all descended down to the Catacombs of Paris - which was just as awesome as I had remembered! This is constantly what Cha & the girls say was one of the coolest things we did on the trip. It’s a sad but touching tribute to so many lives lost- from the plague to the revolution - and how in death we’re all equal.

You don’t need an individual guide for this or wild prices for skip the line entry. Just go to the website 2 weeks before your trip and book the tickets. It’s under 20 euros- don’t get scammed! And the audio tour is amazing- just do it!
