Wranglers are my boots on the ground. 👇🏻

⭐️ Wranglers help to keep your family in place for family pictures. You’d be amazed. People just wander off.

⭐️ You need two. One for your side of the family and one for your fiancés side.

⭐️ Wranglers should know what everyone in the family pics looks like because I can’t help you here. I don’t know what cousin Joanne looks like.

⭐️ Wranglers should be BOSSY!

⭐️ Next create a shot list of your family that should look like this:
1.) Bride, Groom, Mother of the bride Mary and Father of the Bride John
2.) Bride, Groom, MOB Mary, FOB John, Sister of the bride Kelly and brother in law of the bride Sam

Note: you don’t want to just say “bride, groom, aunt and uncle” because your photographer won’t know who that is if your wranglers don’t have someone on deck

⭐️ Give this list to your wranglers a few days before the wedding so they wrangle each person and they can continuously line up every iteration you need m. Make sure your photographer has it too!

⭐️ And watch your family shot time go from 25 min to 10 min like that! by @meredithkeatingevents

Wedding Code Phrase 👇🏻

⭐️ Having a code phrase might make you feel like a super spy but I promise this is so important.

‼️ So when anything happens like …

1️⃣ Your bridesmaid can’t read the room and is telling you every detail of what’s going wrong

2️⃣ Your aunt found her way into the bridal suite early and decided to tell you about your uncles sciatica

3️⃣ At the reception your cousin won’t let you get away telling you that the hors d’oeuvres were cold

🗣️ Yoy say to your trusted person (wedding planner, maid of honor, mom) “I feel like I’m forgetting something”

💥And boom code phrase enacted. Now you can make your way away from the conversation without feeling rude.

👍🏻 This works because it’s such an open ended phrase that makes sense in so many scenarios, it sets your super spy person up to make up a mini emergency on the spot! by @meredithkeatingevents

How to create a rain plan:

Who determines the rain plan? You? The Venue? Is there a percentage of rain? Lightning only?

What time does your venue say is their “final answer” time to make the call to move it in?

When is the drop dead last possible time we have to decide we need to move it in. 2 hours is reasonable here. If they say the “morning of” FIGHT BACK!

If it rains, what is the second option ceremony space?

Is this a dedicated space or would it need to be flipped after or shared with a reception space?

Can you rent a tent? This is very pricey and often doesn’t come with an option to get guests under the tent without getting wet.

Decide BEFORE the wedding day how long you’re willing to hold the ceremony for rain? 15 min? 30? Keep in mind you won’t get this time back and may impact golden hour pictures.

If it is looking like rain later, is it possible to move the ceremony earlier? This is very difficult to pull off!

If the rain is coming fast, can we do an abbreviated ceremony? Have your officiant craft a 25% ceremony. Just the essentials to get everyone back inside

If it starts to rain mid ceremony, who has clear umbrellas to get them up to you?

If the rain wraps up pre ceremony, how long does the staff need to dry off the chairs?

But if you are asking my professional opinion, if it looks like rain. Move it in. Wet weddings look romantic but they lead to miserable guests and an extremely heavy wedding dress! by @meredithkeatingevents

Radhika and Gabe were truly one of the most fun couples we’ve had the pleasure of working with. Their day was filled with so much love, laughter, and genuine happiness from beginning to end.

Their beautiful ceremony at Raspberry Plain Manor, surrounded by family and friends, made the day even more special. We loved capturing every little moment and being part of such an unforgettable celebration.
