There’s a white Rolls Royce parking in front of me. I had planned to do a proper fit check but it’s pouring rain. I am wearing Calvin Klein nude heels, an edgy, cool toned pink dress made with an open weave floral pattern that is long and sleeveless. It fits the vibe. Makeup is on point. Westman Atelier foundation (the new one), biscuit contour, brown shadow and a sparkling lip oil by Dior…
It’s rained almost all day and I was asked to joint someone unexpectedly at my favorite restaurant…

Monday, baby! Best day of the week!

The better I swim the better I feel the better I coach!
The weather has turned and it’s in the 70s in the morning - perfect. I love it. And I have been beating all the afternoon storms! The Gulf is in the 80s and T2 keeps their pool perfect all year! I started to do a few “Meredith Doubles” (pool then open water). Getting fit!

Back in open water today! While the Gulf has been as high as 90, I think it’s starting to cool off and I’m ready to dive in and get lost in the blue… look for dolphins… jog on white sand beaches…take some fun photos…have an adventure and write a story!

The backlash on the Sydney Sweeney ad is so interesting. I think she’s an incredible actress and model… but I hate the constant objectification of women in sport - this unspoken standard of needing to look a certain way to gain sponsorship dollars, viewership or followers…that female sport depends on a male gaze.
Sport is raw, gritty, honest.
Sport is unedited.
Women are told a million different ways how to look and how to act on a daily basis. Sport has always meant freedom.
Even defiance.
The beauty of sport is that it isn’t about being pretty even if it happens to be beautiful.
There is power in being strong.
We want to be seen for who we are, athletes, and not what we wear or don’t wear.
We want to be judged by seconds, points, goals scored - not by subjective measurements…
There is beauty in putting yourself out there for the entire world to see and not focusing on image but performance and mastery of skill…
