08-22-2004 such satisfying numerology for this glorious and precious day: your birth.  It is just beyond that you are 18 today and heading off to college this week.  The near constant tears are a symbol of how much I will miss you but in the truest terms, you are totally ready resourced with deep intuition and wisdom, gentle but clear truth telling and bright and beautiful energy.  So proud and so excited. I love you so much.  Happy Birthday!!!! by @meredithpugh22

On this full moon Monday, I celebrate you RF. Friend to my little girl, tween, teen, and woman and witness to the crazy mix of all these parts of self, I love you. The fact that you show up on the scene in your full glory, beauty, intuition and curiosity is part of the reason why you get into all of me — the full story — every nook and cranny. It is this birth right and skill that uniquely qualifies you as the brilliant documentary director that you are. The specificity of your vision, immediacy to connect in tenderness and ability to stand in the fire of discomfort is a true gift. You model the highest level of discipline and commitment — day in and day out. You relentlessly return to the the gods and the creative intelligence of the universe to ground yourself in truth and possibility. With you, I get the benefit of growing in all of these ways and am ever so grateful and inspired. Here’s to the big birthday, the full-length directorial debut, the number 13, the endless days of tears, laughter, micro-muscle building and zoom staring. The being known in a very special way, the admiration of your willingness to dig and keep digging until you get to the center of the blinding reality of your massive light. Our love of whacky pants, low-fi living and addiction to the sea. May the wild, big energy be with you today and always. I could not love or admire you more . @rachelfleit ❤️‍🔥 by @meredithpugh22
