First day(s) of school, 2026.

This crew is taking on 9th, 7th, 5th, 3rd, and PK3. 5 kids, 3 different school systems, and 2 determined parents cheering them on and praying for the best year ever. I sure do love them. by @meredithwhitephoto

It was truly an honor to bring Grace and Cameron’s floral visions to life for their wedding day, and @meredithwhitephoto did an incredible job capturing the beauty of the day!

Grace and Cameron are two of the most genuinely kind and thoughtful people, and we are still over the moon that we got to be an integral part of celebrating their new chapter of life together. We are so humbled and grateful they trusted our team at FPB to bring some flower power to their wedding day.

Grace asked for a dramatic cascading bouquet, and colorful garden/art nouveau style inspiration in her florals!

We are also so proud that every single bloom in their wedding was grown by us at FPB, or by other Virginia flower farmers! We could not have made these flower dreams possible without our Virginia Flower friends:

I saw a friend recently who asked me if I was still doing photography 🫣. I knew right away why she asked… my last post was the last day of school in May - not even client work!! The reality is that last week alone I had a bridal portrait session, a corporate event, an engagement session, and a 9 hour wedding!! So yes, I’m still at it, and maybe my Instagram feed should reflect even just a small percentage of that??

Starting strong here with the beautiful, fun, and always-stylish Evans family. I shared a vision for their summer session with Ashton and she absolutely knocked it out of the park, errr, court. 🏓

Last day of 8th, 6th, 4th, and 2nd (yesterday), and last day of Kidzone for Owen (today). So many lasts, so much to celebrate, and I’ve cried so many times!

For the big four, it was a huge year for so many reasons. I’m proud of how much they’ve each persevered (in and out of academics), showed up even when it was hard/inconvenient, and honestly made my (part time) homeschool mom job (fairly) easy.

This is not the easiest route to take with schooling. There’s a lot of togetherness, some tears, a lot of “I’m sorry” and grace needed for each other. We celebrate victories and get really frustrated over failures. I would not change it for anything and am so grateful for this unique hybrid journey.

And Owen… the family mascot. It wasn’t easy “sharing” him and letting him go to school buuuut he had the best year with the sweetest teachers and class. It’s just a few hours per week but he benefited so much. He really is the brightest little light and the joy of the whole White house and picking him up afterward was my favorite part of his school days. And we got a lot more homeschool done than we would’ve. 🤣

POV: all your people are together for your rehearsal dinner in an epic setting, and you ask me to document it. ✨🤍

Caroline and Winston created the most special experience at the @branchmuseumofdesign in downtown Richmond. Their families and close friends were all there to celebrate + anticipate their wedding the next day, and this night deserved its own moment.

Life is good, and it keeps getting better with you, Danny.. happy happy birthday to my person - I am the luckiest!!! 🥳
