Since starting this account a few weeks ago there are now over 1300 of you (ah, THANK YOU!) ☺️ and since it’s the start of a new month I thought I’d take some time to reintroduce myself. Have been waiting several years to scream TWENTY-NOINE and the day is here!!!!!

Feeling very excited to enter my 29th year knowing this is the age I will be when I officially become a published author!! Celebrated by finishing Threshing Day, a shopping day and dinner with my best friend and husband, a cuddle puddle with my girlies Rosie and Nina, bday donuts, and starting my rewatch of Outlander. AND there is finally a crisp in the air!!! Going to scale my walls from excitement!

As someone who grew up around people who quantified my existence and assigned me a value based on how well I behaved and what I produced, learning that I could be loved simply because I was me (that I could just be, and that was enough) has been quite a humbling journey. I wanted this lesson reflected in Evelyne’s character arc, because I know so many women know this reality in various forms.

Healing love, whether romantic, platonic, through an animal companion, or through becoming a parent (among many other avenues), is something I hope every woman who has questioned her right to simply exist experiences! 🫶🏼😘
