i want to document my journey. everything. my life.
all my reinventions, transformations, over n over again.
and turn it into art.

POSTS STORIES REELS

and its been the best decision of my life.

leaving my comfortable childhood home for the first time, to build a life of my own.

switched jobs already cause the first one was shitty.

moved houses 2 times and will soon again for a third time.

met sooo many incredible people, made lovely connections and new friends.

there’s so much wonder in a big city. infinite possibilities and inspiration and opportunities are out there. that im not used to, coming from an itty-bitty small town. anything is possible here. every day you can wake up, decide to live with an open heart and let the city surprise you..

can’t wait to experience sooo much more magic here. and im gonna take you with me this time 🎞️✨ by @merelrol

im so fascinated by the creative process. all the obstacles you gotta overcome to just create something.. it looks so different from being physically disciplined. you can’t treat it as the same thing..

so what’s the difference?

physical discipline is simply said just showing up and doing the reps. you know exactly what to do. you know what’s coming. you have a plan. you follow that plan. and you execute it. you do the same shit every week, be consistent with it and the results will follow. its pretty linear progress.

but with creativity? you will have to face new obstacles every. single. day baby. progress itsn’t even close to linear. its all ups and downs. back and forth. the process is messy. veryyy messy. you don’t even know what the outcome is gonna be yet. you deal with self doubt. fear of being seen. fear of not being good enough. then out of nowhere you feel this resistance to even keep doing the thing. but you’re pretty fucking sure you wanted this. then you self sabotage. then you pick it up again. but you overthink if the idea is still worth it. you have so many ideas but you’re somehow never able to finish them.. yeah, its chaotic.

sooo there’s a big difference if you ask me🙂‍↔️

neither one is better than the other. its just a completely different game we’re playing. as a gym girlie i just want to warn you to not think of them as the same process. cause its not.

and when you acknowledge that, you can go through the process of creating with compassion and curiosity rather than frustration. speaking from personal experience. and i think we all can.

creativity is like a self discovery journey. with many many many beautiful layers to unpack✨ by @merelrol

come with me on a little adventure.. by @merelrol

i’ve lost my alignment with my true self. the artist in me. im craving that free expression to create whatever my soul is calling me to create.. and its time to pick up the damn phone.
