Let’s be clear. When I say “homemade pineapple mojito” I mean grew the pineapple, made the simple syrup (no sugar) but did buy the mint and the lime. Maybe next year they all come from the garden. Oops 1/2 the crop came in at the same time. Just one #Maui gold (of 2) are ready. The rest just regular pineapples. Some will travel north on Endless Summer. Some to be bartered in the neighborhood for mangoes and fish and just to say “thanks for being a friend”. Now who has a #pineapple recipe to share?! by @merenuart5

We do love our doggies on #nationaldogday and every day!! Sadly, it's the last day for our beloved Calypso, aka Callie Girl, Callie, Calise, callyallyipso, Big Brown Dog. She's had a great run, time to go find her sister Shisha (the white pit pictured) over the rainbow where there's no more pain or confusion. Grateful for one last trip to the beach and a last day of hugs. We know Maggie Mayhem will miss you and the extra food you leave for her. And Lorelai will miss her Sargeant on patrol.
