REPYOURBEATZ2023 Greetings! We are excited to kick off the 2023 Rep Your Beats competition with a fresh start.
The Rep Your Beats competition this year will be a part of a broader gathering dubbed "Southside Represent," which is an event planned and produced to serve as a "community solution" for our local creatives.
Repfm N.Zs number 1 hiphop station will provide all information about the "Southside Represent" event soon.
Our goal is to find 12 finalists who will participate in our 'Rep Your Beats' Finals Competition.

For those who are unfamiliar with the "Rep Your Beats" competition, below is a breakdown of the conditions.

There are two stages to the competition. In the first stage, participants are required to submit two beats. They can either submit two original beats or one original beat and one remix. Although our competition has generally focused on Hip Hop and R&B, any genre may be submitted, and the beats must be at least one minute long.

Following the entry deadline, 12 finalists will be chosen by a judging team that includes representatives from Rep FM and AYEBRO.
The standard of the rhythms, originality, and creativity will be taken into consideration while selecting the finalists.

The second stage consists of our 12 chosen finalists who will compete against each other at the Rep Your Beats Finals Competition. Each finalist will have the opportunity to perform their beats live in front of a panel of judges and a live audience.

The judges will evaluate the beats based on the following criteria: creativity, originality, technical skill, and overall quality. The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize and other prizes that are yet to be announced.

Overall, the "Rep Your Beats" competition provides an opportunity for beat makers to showcase their talent and compete against other talented producers. It is a great opportunity for aspiring producers to gain exposure and recognition in the music industry.

Here are some important details you need to know:

- Entries close on 20th April 2023. Finalists will be announced at a later date.

- Only one entry is allowed per person, and you must submit two submissions (either two original tracks or one original track and one remix). The maximum duration for each submission is one minute.

- Your submission must include Proof of Creation (PoC).
A little video of your beat being played via your DAW is an example of evidence of authorship (such as FL Studio, Cubase, or Ableton Live).
Please be aware that your entry will not be taken into consideration if no proof of creation is given.

- Send all entries and PoC (Proof of Creation) files to ayebronz@gmail.com.

- The grand final competition will take place at Manukau Civic Square, Auckland, on Saturday, May 20, 2023 (Time TBC).
The chosen candidates must be present. taken in Manukau City, New Zealand by @merfayebro
