1997-98 Metal Universe Platinum Portrait

Inserted in 1:288 packs, a 15 player set. 1:4,320 to pull the Kobe!

This insert was definitely ahead of its time. It’s one of the coolest and most innovative designs from the late 90s. A simple card with a nice sleek appearance. The multi colored etched holofoil combined with the intricate laser cut holes in the form of Kobe’s face, makes this Platinum Portraits a top favorite in my collection. 🖼️

This has been on my want list for some time. Very happy to finally land it. Cracked Ice

This is one of my favorite card designs of Steph and definitely one you don’t see everyday. Absolutely great photography and gorgeous card in hand. You really gotta hold it to see how damn nice this card is. Those confetti showers are 🔥 This card has been on my radar for some time, very happy to finally acquire it. Big thanks to the random guy on ebay who posted it.

1998-99 Skybox Premium Slam Funk

Happy Mamba Day! 4.13.16, on this day Shaq challenged Kobe to get 50 on his final game. Kobe finished with 60! What a GOAT level finish from the Mamba 🐍

Before the white sparkle, there was Slam Funk🕺🏽A fairly tough pull, at a rate of 1:360 packs in a 10 card set. I had to use a dark background to capture how cool and unique this card is. Acetate stock, a sick dunk pose, rocking the Crazy 8 kicks, and the beautiful specks of rainbow glitter all throughout the card✨
Big thanks to @the.card.guru for this incredible insert.

2020-21 Noir Spotlight Signatures /49

Happy Birthday Steph 🥳

They did this years Spotlight Signatures amazingly well. Such a beautifully designed card 😍 Really digging the large Noir font and how Steph pops against that black background. Very nice action shot with perfect auto placement👌🏽 Combine that with everything else that makes this set great, glossy black acetate, gold holofoil, and gold ink! Definitely one of the best looking inserts from Panini in my opinion.
Thank you @giveupisfailure for hooking it up with this beauty! #stephencurry #stephcurry #warriors #noir #spotlightsignatures #crotchauto #allstarmvp #whodoyoucollect #collectwhatyoulike #thehobby by @mergewithjurge

2002 Legendary Collection
Reverse Foil

Happy Pokémon Day!
Haven’t had a Pokémon mail day in a long time, so this one is a little special. I’m very happy to add this magnificent card to my collection. I’ve had my eye on one of these for almost two years, fortunate to finally acquire one. That firework holo pattern is just incredible! 🎇 Unpopular opinion, but this may be the most aesthetically pleasing Charizard out there. #charizard #legendarycollection #reversefoil #fireworkholo #mitsuhiroarita #tcg #wotc #nationalpokemonday #happypokemonday #26years #collectwhatyoulike #whodoyoucollect #thehobby by @mergewithjurge

Gallery Of Heroes

I was nominated by @california_card_collector and @sixouttafivestars for the #postapair2 These two cards came to mind, the OG stained glass! One of the coolest looking die cut acetate inserts from the late 90s, perhaps inspired from windows of churches and monasteries or palaces. Love the colors, design and texturing on these. Hold it up to a light source and you’ll see that awesome stained glass effect 😍 Such beautiful work of art 🖼 Shout out to @spauthentic84 for getting the trend going. $2018 Panini Black Friday /199 It’s been two years and it’s still hard to believe Kobe and Gigi are gone. Keep your loved ones close and tell them how much they mean to you. Rest in peace Mamba and Mambacita 💛💜 This was my favorite photo of young Kobe growing up. A simple yet iconic shot of the young phenom who took the sports world by storm. I’m extremely happy to have this in card form and absolutely love that it refracts ✨ Big thanks @the.card.guru for always looking out when one popped up for sale.
