As of Saturday morning there are low double digits left of the OG blue & pink colorway(!), and a decent supply of ‘Angler’s Edition’ pre-orders left in sage & gold. This will be the LAST CHANCE to snag either of these caps for the foreseeable future, so if you’re still playing the fence, you’d be wise to hop off of it, and hop into a new ‘SALMONS’ hat via the 🖇️ LINK IN BIO 🖇️ right now 🙂 // AND NOW FOR OUR BOILERPLATE REMINDER – This is a PRE-ORDER. As production capacity is limited and demand will be high, customers are limited to a maximum of (3) of caps in total. 🥾🧪🥼NEW ™BOOTLAB FOR MERIDIAN RELEASES – FRIDAY, JULY 10TH, 12PM EST – IN-STORE + ONLINE AT MERIDIAN.VISION 🥼🧪🥾 // For those new around here, ™bootlab is the ongoing re-appropriative design project of an elusive figure known only as “Katz”. From his faraway print and embroidery laboratory, Katz crafts tongue-in-cheek graphic send-ups of some of the most notable players in technical outdoor, high fashion, and contemporary sportswear. // Our first collaborative capsule with ™bootlab released this past Winter, and while we had a feeling it would be well-received, I don’t think we fully understood the phenomenon the ‘SALMONS’ Caps would become. In the months since, we have received hundreds of comments and inquiries about their availability on our social channels and via email making them the most sought after product in Meridian’s history (bar the early 17MM daily totes, IYKYK ;). In order to better meet initial demand, we launched a pre-order in the Spring, which is just finishing up shipping as we speak. // . . . But apparently, this has not been enough to satisfy the hunger, so later this week, we return with a Salmon-heavy new drop for those who have yet to get their fill. New items from ™bootlab–including a very limited amount of the OG Washed Navy ‘SALMONS’ caps–will be available in North America exclusively at Meridian. Lock in and get yours this Friday, July 10th at 12PM 🎣🔐 // And if you miss out this Friday, do not despair! 🏴🔥 HAPPY BEAUTIFUL SUMMER SATURDAY 🔥🏴 // Meridian will be here for you this holiday from 11AM—5:30PM with ice cold A/C, and brand new arrivals in-store from Outlier, Earth\Studies, Lady White Co., and MAKR to get you right for the weekend and beyond. // If you asked me to choose one fit in which to ride out the rest of what’s shaping up to be a scorcher of a Summer in the Hudson Valley, it would be this: Outlier Futurelittlebigs (seen here in the outstanding new ‘Seeing Red’) colorway, and the Outlier Nycogaze Muscle Tank in Whitegauze. // The shorts are light enough to keep you cool with a perfect 6” inseam and room for your quads, but durable enough to take for a hike, and amphibious when you’re inspired to dip. The Tank’s 80GSM cotton/nylon blend is possibly the lightest knit we’ve ever stocked here, but it’s been love at first wear. Dry handfeel keeps it cool and breathable, roomy fit let’s it move on your body. And we even got black if you not tryna get to slutty with it 😜 Pair the above with a cap and a clean sock/sneaker combo and you’re good. 🧢🍣📝 A WELCOME NOTE TO ALL NEW MERIDIAN FOLLOWERS WHO WANT A ‘SALMONS’ CAP 📝🍣 // TL;DR: a handful of the original ‘SALMONS’ Caps in Washed Navy will be available for purchase next week alongside other ™️bootlab items. Stay tuned for an announcement Monday. Unfortunately, the likelihood of getting one is low 😞 Read on for more // In light of the largest influx of new Meridian fans generated off any single Instagram post ever, I thought I’d take a moment to welcome y’all, and give you a little background on the shop and the suddenly popular hat that brought you here... // I (Sam) run Meridian solo both in-store in Hudson, NY and online. I work the shop daily, do all the buying and collabs, shoot all the imagery, create all the social content, answer all the DMs and emails, and pack each order with a hand written note for you to enjoy. // I’ve made it my mission to seek out the most interesting brands and makers worldwide and bring them to our audience. After following them for years, our initial capsule collection with the elusive ™️bootlab dropped last Winter. The ‘SALMONS’ cap sold out in 2 minutes online before we could open our doors 😳. In order to give more of our community a chance to get one, we opened a limited pre-order which *ALSO* sold out. // Our recent post to announce the shipping of said pre-orders went viral (by the standards of our tiny shop) resulting in an out-pouring of interest, hundreds of new followers, and an avalanche of DMs and emails asking how to purchase it. I’ll file this all under “good problems to have”, but the result of this unexpected surge of interest will be that many people will walk away empty-handed next week. // If you made it this far thank you 🙏 Please just give us (me) a little grace as we (I😂) do our best to reply to all your messages.
