This series is of my Grandma’s Maximilian Sunflowers aka Mexican Daisies. She had an oasis in the desert full of life. I wanted to document the life that still exists on her property even though she is no longer with us.

Shot with my 70-200 f2.8 lens which honestly makes everything look damn good.

Push my limits!! That has always been my mantra! I haven’t felt completely comfortable with my body lately but this little success was a reminder that I should be. On Friday I sent my hardest climb to date! I am so grateful that my body allows me to perform during important moments like these.

This summer we spent a lot of time climbing outside with some exceptional inspiring humans (you know who you are!) and they reminded me that I am strong and I can absolutely push my limits and beyond.

Thank you beautiful humans for reminding me that I can do it! I cherish every moment we share outside together climbing, working on our projects and just laughing at our complete exhaustion. Thank you Gaël for always being down to make the drive and hike up with me to try my project…and hot damn you have progressed too in your climbing. I am grateful to have this body and do the things that make me stay sane! Can’t wait for more of this!! 🙏🥰🥹💕

Roll: 3 shot on my Mamiya 6: 6x6 square format on Porta 160 film. I am absolutely obsessed with how these photos come out on this camera. This camera and desert landscapes are a dream. Learning with every roll! Taking photos of friends and family is forever my favorite…also having other people take the photo is a fun teaching opportunity.
