My runs here are usually part run, part photoshoot because it’s just so freaking pretty here! 8.5 miles on this particular adventure from Back Bay to False Cape and back and loved every second of it! And then a treat from Baja Coffee after. 🙌🏃‍♀️🌳🦌🐍 #trailrunner #distancerunner #virginiabeach #falsecape #backbay taken in Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge by @mermaid_marinamd

Our latest adventure - the mountains, waterfalls, and trails of Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Park, and Headwaters State Forest. One of my favorite trips yet! Beautiful area, only crowded on the major trails/tourist spots, and the most friendly & lovely people. Planning another trip asap but for now just reliving it all through the photos! 💕🏔️🐕 taken in Pisgah National Forest by @mermaid_marinamd

Our latest adventure to the Great Dismal Swamp. Too windy to paddleboard, but the hike along the Washington Ditch trail was so lovely, though quite buggy! taken in Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge by @mermaid_marinamd

Constantly inspired by this beautiful place we now call home. A little plein air painting I did last weekend at Chic’s Beach! Always a struggle trying to turn that brain off and paint what I feel vs. exactly what I see. And more of a struggle to not critique every little flaw I see. But! Pretty happy with how this one turned out. (Mostly) 🤣 taken in Virginia Beach, Virginia by @mermaid_marinamd

The Gang Goes to ESTO. Spent a few days in Philly for a work trip this week! Didn’t see much of the city because our schedule was action-packed but I did get a few photos while we were there. 📸 taken in Center City, Philadelphia by @mermaid_marinamd

Today’s adventure in Sandbridge. I really love where we live. 🥰 We saw dolphins pretty much the entire time we were walking the beach. 🐬 Just started to rain when we got back to the car. Perfect little Sunday adventure before the week starts. 🩷🏝️ taken in Sandbridge Beach by @mermaid_marinamd
