Bait ball chaos on Australia’s east coast!

Shivers of sharks & Pods of dolphins balling bait fish into groups and enjoying the spoils.

The bait balls have slowly been making their way up the coast and these ones were spotted just off the coast of Cabarita yesterday afternoon.

It was amazing to watch the spectacular display of nature from the shoreline

Couldn’t believe my eyes 👀

I was freediving down to see this grey nurse shark, when I noticed something in the corner of my eye coming towards me. When I realised what I was I couldn’t believe it! It was such a special moment that I will cherish.

Did you see it?
Not only was this one of the most incredible ocean experiences I have had, it was also one of the funniest 🤣
This pod of dolphins rests regularly in the shallows, after a long day of hunting. The pod was initially very curious of us and came in for a look. Being eye to eye with so many dolphins was just magical.
You may have also noticed a few of them pooping 💩 as they swam by, which made for a very funny encounter.
There was also a couple of baby dolphins 😍 So cute!

Walking the dog Island style 🐶🌴

Ray the island dog @rayray_crookedpost_lhi, is a bit of an icon on Lord Howe. He is often seen sitting out in the sun in front of the @the.crooked.post.
This was one our favourite spots to have a beer and enjoy the views of the lagoon and mountains

This was such an epic day with @divelordhowe 🤿🐟 Did you know there’s over 300 dive sites on Lord Howe Island?! We went to a few of them with such diverse marine life, corals, and caves to swim through. Also got to finish my navigation skills so I could complete my advanced scuba certification. Not a bad spot to tick that one off! Thanks to the best crew to make it all happen. Lots more to share soon from underwater🦈 taken in Lord Howe Island by @mermanmitch

Lord Howe Island is truly one of a kind.

Spectacular from sea to summit, visiting this unique paradise is like stepping into a nature documentary, and this last trip was the most epic one yet.

This place has been on my list for so long & I wish I booked it sooner!
