It was surreal, textural, and emotionally driven rather than literal. From the beginning, it was never about perfection. It was about feeling,” says artisan wigmaker Merria Dearman. What is single donor you ask? Can I make a wig out of one ponytail? What is virgin remy hair? As I grow my business and train non hair people these words mean different things and it can get confusing, especially for the general public. The wig world is a vast sea of misinformation much like social media.
