BsAs 🇦🇷: my first true love for living abroad (I moved back 3 times lol). This city helped me grow into my adulthood and taught me how to become a woman of the world (and not just an ‘American’). And where I truly fell in love with South America 🌎. A direction that had a huge impact on my life. So grateful for this beautiful city and the experiences (and people) I met here 🩵. It felt damn good to be back! 🧉🧉🧉
Still feels like a home away from home if I’m honest.💗

Travel is truly remarkable. A crazy July heat wave in Aix (and aforementioned lack of AC) led us to stress book a small chateau (with AC) outside of the city which thereby put our closest restaurant at Château La Coste @chateaulacoste, a place we’d both never heard of. And wow how lucky were we! What a remarkable place full of high-end art and sculpture (Tadao Ando, Frank Gehry, Richard Serra, Oscar Niemeyer, Renzo Piano etc) and even a Michelin-plated restaurant run by the very famous @francismallmann 🥩 (and a few other fabulous restaurants as well).

[The château was purchased by Paddy McKillen in 2002 🇮🇪 with a mission to build site specific installations from world-renowned artists into the natural landscape surrounding the 600-acre vineyard.]

What went from a hot / stressful travel story turned into one of my favorite places we went to (multiple times) in France. Love it when travel pushes you to the new and expected and it often becomes the most memorable ✨ taken in Château La Coste by @merrillmcd

Cap D’ail, maybe the prettiest beach I’ll ever go to (minus the heat wave / heat stroke ofc). A gorgeous 15 minute paved walk along the coast to get there from the train 😍

And Eze! A stunning medieval hilltop village with insane views, and a super unique botanical garden (with cactus even?) Turns out I had forgotten I visited when I was a young teen with my mom and her best friend Ruth and walking the streets it all came back to me 🤩

French girl summer was unexpected and glorious. 🇫🇷🥖 Aside from the 95+ degree temps (and stereotypical 5 floor walk ups / heat stroke etc etc), exploring the French Riviera with my fave person @sydneyelai was a trip of a lifetime.

I took way too many pics for one post so buckle there’s more to come!
