A recap of another excursion for the Curating specialisation to the Kröller-Müller museum. From sculptures to a bone curtain by Marina Abramovic and Ulay to Van Gogh’s ‘happier’ paintings 🖼️ The museum’s current display is truly wonderful and it was lovely to learn more about the the curating team. What an amazing experience, truly one of my favourite places to be!🧿🫶 by @meryembsarchive
Yesterday was my first class for my course on Collecting, Curating and Display which is part of my master Curating Art and Cultures. Part of the course includes museumvisits, and for the first one we went to the exhibition “MONOMANIA” curated by artist Fiona Tan for the Rijksmuseum. I’ve learned so much and am very excited for everything coming next. I wanted to share some of my favourite works of the exhibitions, made by various artists including some by Munch and Goya. Highly recommend going to experience a more creative form of curation and experiencing Tan’s interests and her perspective. 🧿 by @meryembsarchive
