REVOLT WORLD 🌎 was anything you wanted it to be. A weekend packed with networking, introductions, elevator pitches, meetings with executives but the turn up 🥂was full force once the sun set. 👥Duality, am I right? Thanks @revoltworld for another successful year with some great sponsors! @mcdonalds showed up and out with the fresh hot fries, @walmart had our backs with @blackgirlsunscreen samples & custom tees.

@nonamehiding ✨ how can I even begin to express your value & impact! Since 2013 this bright voice came through on a feature and it was nothing but support from there on out. When NoName says show up, that’s what you do! So we did!

✈️ Flew out for one night in Chicago to capture and enjoy this *FREE* concert on such a gorgeous day—one I had never experienced in Chicago any other visit. What a day to experience beautiful, inspiring performances from the eminent talent of @sageelsesser & the illustrious @kellymoonstone — the GREATS❗️were in attendance baybee! Special guests @common was definitely one for the culture. Hip Hop is well taken care of and divinely protected with these emerging, distinguished artists.

Only a couple things can bring me out of a photo hiatus—and that is live music. Dusted off an old Canon T3 and although old, still magical.

🎃🎂BIRTHDAY/HALLOWEEN POST! I had to let all the festivities die down. BUT OH MY GAHHHH. 29 on the 29th WAS SUCH A BLAST. I worked for 2 months straight (even on my birthday) and partied so hard in between exhaustion. From Shaky Knees to One Music Fest we were NON STOP. This post will never explain it fully. You gotta witness the magic of it all IRL 🌍

Say what you want; Halloween is THEE best holiday of the year. Everyone dressed in new avatars doing the same ol normal shit we always do BUT with more liquor. Bad wigs and unblended makeup is welcome! Scare us babe! 😭

Nobody expects gifts— except me because it’s my birthday! Happy 29th to such a side quest year, 28 came in with vengeance, job loss, car accidents, breakups, ugh. But also came with BETTER jobs, NEW coworkers and an amazing STRONG inner circle. And Who’s to say it’s any easier going forward, but baybe we got the STRENGTH, the HUMOR and the VIGOR. Queen of living in the dark depths of uncertainty and instability and coming out greater and making it look GOOD, but 29 please, be nice. 🎃HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL THE GHOULS & GOBLINS. by @mesapisa

Photographers Traveling to Handle Business in New Orleans 📸🫱🏾‍🫲🏽📸

This past weekend was truly amazing. Not only we got to visit New Orleans for the first time, but also this was our first time being hired as a photographer to travel to another state, to take photos for @naacp_ldf “On the Rise, Building Black Political Power” Conference!

We headbanged and two stepped in the same hour! Shot a couple performances but also made sure I danced the night away with my friends! Never would I ever have imagined I would be at a music festival full of MY OWN peers. So so much talent from the festival organizers, to the musicians, to the producers to the media!! Louisville is BUZZING with great, influential, powerful and emerging people! The love in this city is unmatched. It’s an honor to have been among all of you. You know I’m always in an artists ear telling them how much I appreciate what they do and always offering my support.

3/3 There is always a lot more to absorb at a music festival than just the musical performances. Let’s take a moment to shine light on the camaraderie of showing up with your squad or linking with whomever you find along your day, fellowship, fashion, hydration, libation, and most importantly rest during an exhausting day to make it through to a inevitable after party. 2/3 Thebe, Earl, “Mr. Sweatshirt” this one was personal. Been a major OF fan since 2010– quoting loiter squad jokes and showing my friends after school— studying their creative direction from lyricism to visuals— to actually spending time with one of the most influential artists of my peer generation. What an honor and a joy it was to connect and laugh. Bc one thing bout me yall— I’ma laugh.
