“The first true suture innovation in a very long time.”

Learn the story behind Mesh Suture, Inc. and our flagship product Duramesh™ and how we’re redefining the standard for closure. by @mesh.suture

Three reasons Duramesh is redefining surgical closure:

Strong from the Start: Duramesh's larger surface area defuses tension from the moment of placement, creating a strong initial repair.

Durable Over Time: as tissue integrates into Duramesh's structure, the repair strengthens. Not just at closure, but in the weeks and months that follow.

Simple Surgical Technique: running or interrupted, open or minimally invasive. No new skills. No added dissection. Just a better tool.

It's time to think beyond the common thread.

Proud to announce that we have now surpassed 50,000 units of Duramesh shipped worldwide!

This milestone reflects what we've heard from surgeons and partners around the world: Duramesh is redefining the standard for closure and eliminating one of surgery's most common and avoidable problems, suture pull-through.

We are so grateful for all the surgeons who have tried Duramesh and trusted it in their practice, to our incredible team, to our distribution partners, and to all the friends and colleagues who have made this possible.

Looking forward to even more growth in the months and years ahead as more surgeons feel the Duramesh Difference! by @mesh.suture

Today we hosted our inaugural Duramesh Ground Rounds webinar, discussing Small Ventral Hernia Repair with our Chief Medical Officer Dr. Greg Dumanian, Dr. Rhys Thomas of England, and Dr. Rick Ngo of Texas Hernia.

The panelists presented to over 100 attendees from around the world, discussing successful hernia repair cases using Duramesh, clinical data showing strong results, and tips & tricks for using Duramesh.

As Dr. Ngo said, Duramesh has been “a game-changer for my practice.”

Thanks to the panelists for sharing their expertise — and to everyone who joined us to hear more about the new standard for closure!

610,000 ventral hernia repairs are performed in the United States every year, at an estimated cost of $10 billion annually.¹

Recurrence drives that burden higher — for patients and hospitals alike.

Duramesh™ reduces suture pull-through from the start, facilitating a strong, durable repair. It's time to start closing with confidence. Contact us today to setup a demo.

Some of the best surgical conversations happen around the dinner table.

This week we had the privilege of joining the Ascension St. Vincent Journal Club outside of Indianapolis for an evening of thoughtful discussion, shared experiences, and a deep dive into the future of surgical closure with Duramesh.

Thank you to the surgeons who showed up with great questions and even greater curiosity. This is exactly the kind of collaboration that advances surgery.
