I wasn’t gonna post… But God is dealing with me about my avoidance tendencies… I don’t look at pictures, videos or anything that causes in depth memories, because of the ache in causes. August 12th made 7 years that Lyric has been gone and every day I still have to remind myself to breathe… I can’t say I was the best mother… But I can say I did my best… A lot of things I wish I could take back, a lot of things I wish I could do differently, a lot of guilt I will carry for the rest of my life… But I can only pray that she lived and died knowing that I would trade my life for hers… At this very moment if I had the choice I would beg God to trade places… I would want her to be the chef she worked so hard to become… to be a wife… to be a mother… to spoil her nieces and nephews like crazy… to drive me and her dad insane… to swindle her Big Daddy and Nana out of all of their money… to boss her siblings around and be the best big sister she has always been… She has so much more to offer to this world than I do…. But that won’t happen…. So for now we just say Happy Heavenly Birthday Lyric Da-Zhane’!🕊️😇💜. I really pray that you knew how much you were and still are loved…. See you in the next one. 🙏🏽😘 #MyShero 🦸🏽‍♀️#LupusWarrior🦋💜 #ChefLe🧑🏽‍🍳#7yearsinheaven😇 #24earthlyyears by @meshahart1
