2025 • I haven’t posted on here in years, which is so silly. I did not make these graphics as the year went… which would have saved me so much time. Anyways!! Here’s what I’ve been up to!! Month by month with my top song of the month, baby!! 2025 was full of so much love from friends and family!! Saw so many concerts…some we traveled to different states for… some we would just roll up to on the weekends. Got to visit Disney World several times (now with our parents, yippee!!) and got to experience Epic Universe 4 times!! Did our second Disney Cruise on the Magic with plans to book another cruise this year. Adopted Milo from the streets (shoutout B)!! Can’t imagine life without him now. May 2024 • I’m 30 now, which is insane. I’m trying to document the good things more. Physically, I mean. May was full of love and laughter with good friends. We got to spend so much time with our friends in Arbour Season (and Amy!) while they were in town, made a new friend (shoutout CJ!) too. Decided to go to a Nightbreakies cover gig kinda last minute and had Payphone by Maroon 5 dedicated to me. My friends are all so talented, please give em a listen! Went on a quick roadtrip to Charleston, SC with My Dad™ to see Ben Folds and surprised him with VIP so we got to meet Ben! Spent the day after strolling around Savannah, GA. 04.24.2024 | haven’t posted in a year and I have never posted a reel…and I never will because I tried and it cut it off. But I found a LOOPHOLE!! It’s 👹 Becky Birthday 👹 and everyone deserves to see the beautiful compilation I put together for her 24th birthday!! Becky is my favorite person in the world!! If you don’t know her, sorry!! 08.02.2022 // I haven’t posted in…3 months. That’s kinda insane. I wish I could add 20 pics to an insta post to summarize all the good things that have happened these last few months. Becky GRADUATED COLLEGE!! SHE IS A KINDERGARTEN TEACHER!! That is INSANE!! She got sooo many awards!! Soo proud of her!! We saw Wanderwild at some venue in Atlanta and Becky forgot her ID so they refused entry so Matt Martin HIMSELF snuck her in!! We took that pic after she made it right before their set. What a guy. Saw Set It Off TWICE and Cody was SHOCKED to see us in Ft. Lauderdale. Always the best time seeing him. Saw our besties in Nightbreakers play at a bar in St. Pete. Might go as far as to say it was a religious experience. Will have to do it again soon. Got to see Kurtis Conner and Jacob Sharpe for the first time since like 2016 or something crazy. He’s selling out theaters now!! When we saw him there were like…50 people there. Thought we could be entrepreneurs and invested in an embroidery machine to make some hats for Well Kept and failed MISERABLY. Embroidering hats is HARD!! Made this shirt to apologize. Saw Big Time Rush?? In 2022?? Very bizarre, but quite the experience!! Spent an evening with some of our favorite cousins at our grandpas!! And then the first and last pic are from Sad Summer. Boy, if Warped was still a think I don’t think I’d be able to survive. We spent like 4 hours in an air conditioned room and didn’t go outside til the sun was going down. Got to see WATERPARKS though!! And they played Funeral Grey!! AHH!! Look at him go. Some other things happened like we saw Wallows a few times and Becky and I got our noses pierced and we moved and David moved to California but those are fairly recent happenings so maybe I’ll post about them in December 🥴 That’s the update! 03.06.2022 // Oh, hello? I am alive. It’s been about 6 months since my last post which is kinda wild. It’s not that nothing exciting has happened in the last 6 months, just haven’t made it a priority to post anything. So here’s your life update! Been busy! Work is work, but I’m still loving it. Had my first real relationship which was so so special. Mutually ended it, but we remain the best of friends. Very grateful for him and everything we got to do together and very grateful we remain so close. You know me, been to lots of shows! Most recently we went to Athens once again - got to see Heffner play!! Went to the park the next morning and got to see Reagan and Carly and their adorable dogs. What a serotonin boost. Spent the afternoon in Tommy’s home studio and got to see the behind the scenes of the recording process. Sooo insane and loved getting to see him work. Got to see our besties in Nightbreakers play a show and play ALL of their songs!! I was going through it™ that week. We encored them and the OG crew got them to play College!! Kaden joined them onstage and something overcame me and I joined him and then Becky came up and then Chels and Lexi and wow. All my favorite people. We screamed our lil hearts out. What a memory!! Also, we saw Set It Off in January and that was so so special getting them to see them HEADLINE at the House of Blues?! Whew. Cody lost his mind when he saw us in West Palm. All good things. I need to make a photo dump of last year. Lots of good show content and pics of us in our cowboy hats. I’ll get there eventually. Anyways! Thanks for listening and for caring! 10.10.2021 • IT’S LOVE ON TOUR, BABY! Can you believe we finally saw Harry Styles tonight when we saw him on his first solo tour four years ago almost to the day?! That’s kinda crazy. Spent the evening with Becky and some coworkers and had the best time! Look how close we were, ahh!! 08.28.2021 // Are You Ready to Do the Work?! Wow. After about a year and a half we were finally reunited with @wanderwildmusic!! Back on our driving 7 hours for a tiny Athens show bullshit. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Got to hear some new tracks from Music in an Emergency live which was so amazing. Yes, we made our own space suits. I don’t know what you expected. 04.24.2021 // HAPPY ✨B✨ DAY, EVERYONE!! Today Becky is officially 21. Isn’t that...insane?? Shoutout, B!! Thanks for being literally the coolest sibling bestie anyone could ever ask for. I know this past year has been...odd to say the least, but things are finally looking up. You did it!! You survived another year. I am so so proud of you and everything you’ve done and continue to do. You have the drive to take over the world someday. That sounds dark, but I mean it in a good way. You’re such a smart bitc and I admire how passionate you are about the things you care about. You’re probably gonna be mad bc it’s 12:01am as I’m typing this and I haven’t texted you yet I am so sorry I’m trying to let the world know how much I love you. Sheeeeesh. Glad we got to go to Disney for the first time in over a year yesterday. We deserved it!! Hopefully it’s safe enough to go to shows again soon, how did we manage to survive?? Anyways. 11.08.2020 // Felt like it was time for a Life Update™ so here we go! I had a notification on my Time-hop last night that it was 8 years since I interviewed for my job at Justice. Check out that outfit in the last pic. Then I realized I hadn’t publicly posted any updates about work or anything! So, hey! After my Justice location closed in August, I started looking for other retail jobs. I interviewed for an Assistant Manager position at Claire’s. They had already filled the position, but had a third key position open. A job is a job right now. I accepted the position and worked at Claire’s at Westshore and Citrus for a month. I loved my manager and had some good times in the month I was there! (I would like to note that I used to be a big baby and afraid of getting piercings. At Justice I got my second and third holes bc we had to practice on each other. Before I left Claire’s I had Stevie pierce my cartilage. Growth!!) I was then contacted and offered a Floor Supervisor position at JC Penney. Shoutout Alyssa aka my good friend and old Justice coworker for looking out! I’ve been at Penney’s for about a month and a half and absolutely LOVE it. I love the job, but I love the people more. Everyone was super welcoming and willing to help me learn! It’s nice to look forward to going to work again. Treated myself to a Disney ring yesterday. Look how pretty it is. I’m still doing design work on the side, so I’m staying busy! I’ve gotten to see some friends and attend some socially-distanced Orlando City games. My dad bought me a purple succulent and in honor of Chris Mueller I made it a #9 yellow pot. Look at him grow! Also my buds in Nightbreakers released a new single called Pressure and I got to do the lyric video for it. Super proud of them. In other news! Joe Biden won the election! We really did that! I will never forget the shift in the atmosphere when the results were announced. Yesterday was a good day. Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Be well! by @messiejoore

08.22.2020 // We all process grief differently. The first 8 days just felt like an extended vacation from work. Then when I finally went to the mall, the windows were blacked out, and it finally felt real.

It's been a weird experience. I haven't been as sad as I thought I'd be. Believe it or not I was most hysterical the first few days after hearing we were closing. I've shed a few tears here and there, but I feel surprisingly content.
Justice was my first job. My first shift was Black Friday 2012. Crazy, right? I started out as a Style Advisor at Citrus Park, transferred to Westshore, transferred to Citrus Park Plaza, transferred back to Westshore where I became a key-holder, and then finally back to Citrus Park where I ended my employment as the Assistant Manager. I've had the pleasure of working with so many amazing people, some of which are now my closest and dearest friends.

I'll miss many things about working at a place as special at Justice, but I'll miss all the girls and families that I've met along the way. I had a handful of girls that I knew by name and they knew me. Thankfully I was able to say goodbye to most of them in our final weeks.
As I go on and continue to job search, I'll always remember what I heard one mom say to her daughter. The girl was so upset when she found out we were closing and she started crying and her mom told her, "Don't cry because they're closing, be grateful you were able to experience this store while we had it."
This is my vow to Live Justice in everything I do.

06.21.2020 // When I tell my friends about my Dad I tell them he’s my best friend (and Becky). I tell them he’s from a family of 7 boys, so his sense of humor is...specific, but the best. The puns, I tell ya. If you’ve ever been to dinner with our family, I’m so sorry. I tell them that he loves music and sometimes tags along to shows when he has the time. He’s met The Maine and he and John are besties. He’s a cinematic VISIONARY! Look at this video. I tell them he’s the type of Dad that gives his own kids Father’s Day cards written in this exact format. He’s the best Dad and I’m so incredibly grateful he’s mine. I’m using Father’s Day as an excuse to post this masterpiece I was sent a week ago while I was at work. Enjoy, friends! by @messiejoore
