Ever kick a ball above the clouds?

For Home Pitch, Destination BC’s immersive football experience at FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver, a playable five-a-side pitch was wrapped in 360° LED screens showing some of British Columbia’s wildest landscapes. The plates behind it were shot on our Meta Four: 20K, 60fps, one camera.

Two weeks. Beaches, old-growth forests, frozen waterfalls and snowfields. A Land Rover Defender, a seaplane, a 1960s helicopter and snowmobiles. One rule: nothing near the lens.

Stitched and graded in Mistika, delivered as 20K x 4K masters at 60fps.

The Guardian just picked up a timpani stick and sat down inside the Philharmonia.

Tim Jonze had never played the instrument. Never seen the score. Then Santtu-Matias Rouvali raised the baton for the finale of Rossini’s William Tell Overture. His thought as the strings began to swell: “Will I screw this up?”

That’s Play Along: Virtual Orchestra, the VR experience we built with the Philharmonia Orchestra. Choose triangle, cymbal or timpani, take a quick lesson from Philharmonia percussionist Tom Edwards, then take your seat in a Royal Festival Hall packed to the rafters.
Behind it: the full orchestra filmed at the Royal Festival Hall on the Meta Three, individual players and the presenter shot in a Wimbledon studio, and an interactive environment built in Unity for Quest 3. Developed with the Philharmonia’s digital team across 2025 and 2026 and launched at the Southbank Centre.

Filming inside Chornobyl meant cold, dim interiors, strict access windows and locations that don’t get re-shot. The Meta Three captured every frame at a fidelity that holds up on today’s headsets, on tomorrow’s headsets, and inside fulldome projection spaces.
