Here is some more stuff from last Friday 07/26/24 when I played a concert of about 800 people with @fluxcapacitors at #partypocalypse Comic Con after-party @parqsd, put on by @xleproductions. 1. All the singers taking shots..... of olive oil to help with keeping voices smooth. 2. Make-up freshly done 3. @crust_e_gremlin caught the tail end of me performing "Domination" by Pantera with @dannycooksey 4. Awesome front and center clip of me performing "Walk" by Pantera from @jeromytv 5. Backstage shot of @brianlanzarotto shredding "Whiplash" by Metallica 6. Backstage shot of @aswedishvampire performing "Du Hast" by Rammstein 7. Shot of me doing backup vocals (possibly for "Killing in the Name of" by Rage Against the Machine) 8. Shot of me and Brian waiting to rock. 9.Me and @hbsaxmachine right before going on. 10. Me, fellow singer @thejonallen , and my friend @liametz after the show. This was such an awesome opportunity and I hope to do a live performance again soon! #sdcc #Pantera #comiccon #parq #sandiego #falsechord #extremevocals #metalvocals #metal #post apocalyptic taken in Parq by @metal.rick

Last Friday on 7/26/24 I had the incredible opportunity to perform live in front of close to a thousand people during a #sdcc after-party put on by @xleproductions. It's the first time I performed live and I definitely can't wait for the next time. It's crazy because I have only been doing false cord/extreme vocals for about half a year and I didn't expect an opportunity like this. Already taking notes on where to improve, as it's definitely harder to hear yourself on stage like that without in ears. Big shout out to @fluxcapacitors for having me, @thegeekgatsby @fluxryan for giving me this opportunity, and @cosmoe666 @aswedishvampire @milesfrankdrums @hbsaxmachine @brianlanzarotto and everyone else for being my fellow performers. This was a dream come true and I can't wait to do it again!🤘 #falsechord #extremevocals #metal #metalrick #pantera #walk #sdcc #comiccon #postapocalyptic #madmax #partypocalypse taken in Parq by @metal.rick

Did Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These) by @marilynmanson for karaoke last week with a little twist. Really had fun popping off on this one and it’s now a new go to for me. #falsecordscream #metalkaraoke #marilynmanson #hollywood #extremevocals taken in Hollywood by @metal.rick

Visited the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art today for my birthday with my family. Best birthday gift! Here are but a fraction of the hundreds of photos I snapped. Definitely going back! #lucasmuseum #starwars #frazetta #normanrockwell #33rdbirthday taken in Lucas Museum of Narrative Art by @metal.rick

My 33rd birthday was on Saturday September 19. I took work off and got some pancakes, shot my bow after years of not doing that, painted, had an amazing dinner with friends, and went to the goth club. Very thankful for the loved ones in my life! by @metal.rick

8/18/2026 The Sword and Red Fang with opener Spoon Benders at the Fonda Theatre. Really great show, first time at the Fonda and seeing any type of stoner metal live. Definitely would see The Sword again! @theswordofficial @redfangband @spoonbenders #liveconcert #stonermetal #metalmusic #thefonda taken in Fonda Theatre by @metal.rick

Screaming at the latter half this time. Trying to do more melodic metalcore these days with the usual screaming stuff. Would like to get my singing voice to the same practice level I’ve put into doing extreme vocals, so putting in practice with some old @triviumband . Definitely a favorite band of mine. Here’s to trying new things! Also trying to do more new things since creative burnout sucks. #metalcore #extremevocals #karaoke #singing #metalkaraoke taken in Los Angeles, California by @metal.rick

Did some #killswitchengage last week for karaoke. This song is tricky for me because of the switching from harsh to cleans but of the handful of times I did it this is one of the better ones. Gonna continue to practice this one a bit more when I do #karaoke #falsechord #mycurse #metalmusic taken in Los Angeles, California by @metal.rick
