It was great to be back visiting this gorgeous project, completed earlier this year. The planting is establishing beautifully and already helping to soften the detailed hard landscaping, bringing balance and texture to the space.

It’s especially wonderful to see the led water feature in all its glory, adding movement and atmosphere exactly as intended.

A pleasure to revisit and see the design settling so well into its surroundings.

Designed beautifully by @jojemmison .

A refined garden transformation, thoughtfully delivered from winter through to the early days of spring.

This project has been a true labour of care and craftsmanship, brought to life using a range of reclaimed materials that beautifully complement the character and heritage of the period property. Each element was carefully selected and installed to ensure a seamless blend of old and new.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with @grounded_surfaces to bring @jojemmison exceptional design to life—an inspiring vision that has resulted in a truly striking outdoor space.

As the seasons shift, we look forward to seeing this garden mature, flourish, and reveal its full potential. A real showstopper, and one we are incredibly proud to have been part of. #garden #gardendesign #landscape #landscaping #paving #reclaimed #brickpavers #periodhome #periodproperty #sevenoaks taken in Sevenoaks, Kent by @metamorph_landscapes

Designed by the incredibly talented @declanbuckleyceramics , this garden is a beautiful example of how thoughtful design and considered planting can create a space that feels truly connected to its surroundings.

It’s been a real pleasure to watch the garden mature and settle into the landscape, becoming a natural part of its coastal setting. A privilege to have played a part in its creation.

As we head into rootball season and tree supply gets underway, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the team carefully trimming four individual topiary pieces.

Aren’t they amazing! 👌🏼

These spectacular specimens take years of growing, shaping and careful maintenance in specialist nurseries to create these incredible forms.

The perfect way to add structure, maturity and a real focal point to a landscape. 🌿

🎥 Behind the scenes of a project completed earlier this year.

This garden was started in the depths of winter, with cold days, muddy ground and plenty of hard work — and fast forward to summer, it was completely transformed and flourishing. 🌿☀️

It’s a great reminder that the best time to start your garden project isn’t always summer.

Leave it until summer and before you know it, the season will be gone. Starting earlier gives your garden time to establish, mature and really come to life when you want to enjoy it most.

There’s always a mess before the glory of a new garden! 🌿

Every great garden transformation starts with a little—or sometimes a lot—of disruption.

Excavation, materials everywhere, bare ground and plenty of hard work behind the scenes.

But trust the process… this is where the transformation begins.

From a blank canvas to a beautifully considered outdoor space, every stage has its purpose.

Retaining walls don’t always need to be built from brick or concrete.

Here’s a great example of using a more refined and less invasive method to create a strong, durable retaining structure.

For this project, we installed a 560mm high Corten steel retaining wall, providing a clean and contemporary edge while retaining the change in levels.

Unlike traditional retaining walls, this system doesn’t require concrete footings. Instead, it is installed using steel fixing posts with intermittent bracing kits, helping to minimise excavation and disruption to the surrounding garden.

Corten is a weathering steel, designed to naturally develop its distinctive rust-coloured protective patina over time. As the steel weathers, the patina helps protect the material beneath, creating a finish that becomes even more characterful as it ages.

A practical retaining solution that also adds a strong architectural element to the landscape.
