Got all this done with the new and very large size 2 brush. Hokds a lit if point, keeps its you well, had decent snap. Shuld be even better when I get fully used to how much softer that synthetic it is.

Have been trying to settle on a Kolinsky set with a good balance of quality and price.I found these locally but couldn't find too much info on them specifically for miniature painting. I thought I'd take a gamble! They look great out of the box, I'll do a detailed review after some painting. It might be a good alternative to Golden Maple, which seems to be hit or miss. Wish me luck.

Black Templar finished. One more to go, still deciding what style I'll go with. Super happy with this one, but still want to try something new. Thanks everyone who followed this from start to finish. If you have any suggestions for the next one, chuck them in the comments!

I'm feeling pretty humbled with this little project. My good friend has bought himself the new version of his most wanted childhood toy, The Frog by Tamiya. He has asked me to paint the driver as his all-time favourite driver, Peter Brock, from the HDT Marlboro era. I've not painted something this big before, but it will be a good chance to try out my new size 2 Kolinsky which should be the right size. I hope I can give him what he wants with this.

⚔️ A gruelling campaign of fire and death changes a battle-brother forever. A Veteran is forged in the fires of battle, as the Emperor’s Wrath is unleashed upon his enemies.

What style do you want to see next? I have an idea, but let's see if you can change my mind. Grimdark and 'Eavy Metal done ..... What else looks great on Black Templars 😉

That huge relief when the clear coat goes on, and it is just the base left. No more worrying I'll accidentally get paint on the white shoulders.

Almost there! #warhammer40k #warhammerpainting #warhammercommunity #spacemarines #blacktemplars by @metamorphminis

Tidy up some edge highlights, a few little touch-ups, then finish the Pyreblaster and base, and we are done!

It's looks hiw it thought it would so far, gotta nail this last part.

With Grimdark Templar finished, it's time for the much sleeker 'Eavy Metal Templar! First real attempt at this, progress is slow, but it IS progress!

Looking forward to the finish, body is done, just the arms and Pyreblaster left.
